Bloody Sony. I wish they would've waited until Scorpio to release a matching system.

I can no longer justify getting anything for the Xbox One other than exclusives (or Skyrim for mods) because the price will be the same but blatantly better on the blasted PS4 Pro.

Maybe FIFA 17 on XB1 because of better online play and Legends?
Then i've got ...hmmm.... Dead Rising 4

Watch Dogs 2, Mafia 3, Battlefield 1 all have to go the other way.

Hmm? The xbox Scorpio will just leapfrog it in 12 months (or less) time. I'd still just buy games for the console your mates play (especially if online)

Agree, will stay ahead for few years, only way Sony will jump ahead again with PS5 thats 3 years away. (November 2019)

It's the price of that thing i'm worried about tbh. Just hope it's a £350 odd job.

Sony need to make money with console, thats why 4K player missing. Microsoft can sell it for £100 they don't care. plus Microsoft now supplying PC market with games also creating more money, bigger player base.

Sony are roughly in front by twice as many units as Microsoft so how do you expect Microsoft to stay ahead when they're currently miles behind?

I think the idea is to build momentum and peak interest for when the next generation lands.

Tbh, I wouldn't hesitate to have a Microsoft machine as my main system if the hardware is on top at the start of a generation. Xbox Live is great and they seem to understand cohesion more than Sony when it comes to features. The new Clubs thing is a good example of that.

Unless Sony spend the next few years selling virtually no units Microsoft aren't going to even catch up, let alone surpass them. I have both the consoles and barring the odd exclusive I've barely used either of them for anything other than Netflix, not that it matter I just don't want to be accused of being a fanboy one way or the other. I just think some of the fanboyish comments from both sides are utterly ridiculous.

Just out of interest, how can Xbox claim 'Greatest games'? What is that based on?

As a person who plays games on multiple systems... I was asking the same thing. The only reason I currently have a PS4 and not an XB1 are for 'great games' (exclusives). Even then my PS4 library is very small, goes to show how many of those exclusives I value. And even the interesting upcoming XB1 exclusives will be on W10 PC.

Regardless, I will give MS that they've been making so many right decisions recently, like backwards-compatibility and the cross-buy/cross-play stuff. Makes me want to buy an XB1S lol. Except I've got nowhere to put it.

never too late, they have done massive amount of work to sort out everything since xbox launch. round two about to start be interesting to see what happens now

sales showing sony have made a error not to include 4K player, seems public are buying this console for that feature.

EDIT: Rocket League another thing, Sony are blocking cross play between xbox live and PSN (at the moment sony are blocking everything)

simple's buy PS4 for gaming

buy xbox one s which is a games console for playing UHD blurays

Anyone know if all Xbox One S 500GB pre-orders come with a month's free trial to EA Access? Some retailers list it as a feature and some don't. Surely it's something that's in the box and not retailer specific?

At least the console market isn't a one horse race. MS will have to do something special with their next console, and it can't be too expensive either. Exciting times we live in.

I hope MS allow us to use the Scorpio console with a keyboard and mouse so we can get some RTS games on there. Would love to get some Civilization VI action.

I don't think many people would be happy if they implemented keyboard and mouse support on FPS. Way too much of an advantage.

Has anyone done a survey yet about who with a PS3 actually bought any blu rays against who didn't? Its too early to do one about the 4K drive in the xbox one s. Genuinely interested as I never did even though I was happy it had one 'in case'.

I've only ever seen one Blu-Ray film in my entire life. I think they gave me Quantum of Solace when I bought my PS3 as some kind of offer.

Got a xbox one S 500gb on preorder, have a question about the gamepad.

Do they charge with a usb like the DS4, which has a built in power pack.

If I remember correctly the 360 used AA battery packs.

The Xbone controllers use batteries or the plug and play charge kit* just like the 360 ones.

*A micro USB version rather than that proprietary connector in the 360.

Thanks, so If I get one of them play/charge kits it would be just the same as charging a ds4. Don't want to messing about with AA batteries!
