Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

I don't think so. There may be a sign up offer or two to help you take the bait but personally I'd say ***** the 15 and do it properly.

Same goes for OddsMonkey. You get the sign-up tutorial free. It runs you through the basics of Matched Betting and you do two or three (I can't remember) sign-up offers. From there onward, it's £15/month.

Try matchedbettingblog.com. That's where I started off. I'd suggest joining OM/YB soon though, as they are invaluable. I started off following MBB. Wasted a fair bit of value with some of the sign-up offers because I didn't really know what I was doing.

Also, don't do the Winner sign-up unless you have deep pockets. It's a profitable offer, but it can take a large bank to get the money back out if you keep winning.

Help! I keep winning lol. Worried I'm going to be restricted. I'm making profit but it's all ending up at the bookies. I just topped up my exchange account this weekend and it's all gone again.

Cancelled PA this week for the first time in 14 month, made a fortune there and was running it alongside Oddsmonkey to see how it compared for 3 months, OM is cheaper and software is second to none, cant stand many people on PA either especially Sam the dude goes through me.

OM just released ACCA software, free of charge and also have a better oddsmatcher, each way matcher and racing matcher as part of the package no brainer for me for 15 squid a month.

Offers this week have been great to me too, the St Ledger got me out of a rut id been in for a couple of months and made me around £300 alone!

Also got gubbed by Betfair sportsbook and 21bet this week that sucks.

Have you used the EW Matcher yet ?

Switched my main bank account today for a switching bonus.
Nothing to do with matched betting, but it is in the same spirit. No such thing as a poor bookmaker, no such thing as a poor bank. If they are poor, they're doing it wrong :p.

I've been reading up this evening about matched betting and have been watching the tutorial videos in yesbets, just to get a feel of how it all works before committing myself. Yesbets refers to using betfair but on matchedbettingblog, it recommends smarkets. Are there any pros and cons between the two other than smarkets charging less commission?

betfair - more liquidity but 5% commission
Smarkets - less liquidity but 2% commission.

I finally took the plunge. I only had time to use the coral offer last night but now used or in the process of using sign ups for paddy power, stan james, betfred and ladbrokes. I'm using yesbets at the moment which makes everything feel and look straight forward.

I did plump with using betfair but after seeing how it goes, I'll have a look at smarkets. I guess I'll use smarkets to cover my free bets with betfair anyway, right?

Correct,

I started out exactly the same around 10 weeks ago and have made over £1000 profit already! Once I had completed most of the sign up offers I created an account with Smarkets and moved some of balance across.
