***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Been signed off work with a bad back for a while now so haven't been able to afford to buy any lego :(

So decided to treat myself to a few small bits from the Argos 3 for 2 to keep me going.

I got my son the Star Wars X-Wing (75102).
I like the orange and black colour scheme in this set and it was one that I have wanted to buy for a while. He built it last night and I got lots of enjoyment out of watching him assemble it.

It’s a pretty good build – the only downsides are the repetitive wing structure and the rear rocket jets fall off without much force due to the weak way they are connected to the main structure.

He loves it though and wants the Tie Fighter now to do play battles with them :)

Ran all my bricklinked lego through the wash this weekend, started to put it together. It's a lot slower when it's not in handy numbered bags! Bought like 1500 tupperwares to seperate it into which helps.

Stop being a wuss! when i was a boy there was none of this numbered bag rubbish, you just poured it out onto the floor and went from there. This was only the 90's btw so not that long ago.

Just had a look, the most expensive set is the porsche. If you could get 3 of those (at £500:eek:) you sell 2 for maybe £220 each on the bay, including postage and fees (probably £30 per item maybe a tad more) you'd be quids in, probable cost you about £120 for it when everything clears.
 
I'm mid build of my lepin ucs falcon and I am missing 7 pieces so far (all the same). I've ordered them from bricklink but am worried I will find more as I can't believe they were they only thing in the missing bag.

Mine was opened and resealed by DHL so don't know if they were missing when they were sent or lost when opened.

When i get mine in the post i'm going to download the official lego instructions and do a stock take from the inventory on the official instructions.
