US: **The Walking Dead Season 7 - Contains Spoilers - No future content to be discussed **

And the TV version of Glenns death missed the mark...

in your opinion (obviously ;) )

personally I thought it was spot on, brutal - yes but also it was very emotionally done. when he tried to speak 'Maggie I'll find you' I thought it was very sad - his brain had obviously been turned to pulp for the most part and his eye was hanging out but somewhere in what was left of him he still recognised the woman he loved and was trying to tell her it would be ok.

personally I thought it was a great piece of work

Well apart from the death scenes one of which they stayed really true to, second episode is back to old ways but it's really my own fault at this point thinking the show was going to change.

Enjoy it girls and gals but show really has been a great disappointment that never truly fulfilled it's potential, I'm done with it which is a shame as I've been a fan of anything zombie since before it was cool :D

Too much soap style drama, filler episodes and sloppy execution of many ideas and concepts. Plenty of lazy writing when it comes characters deaths too. There have been some fantastic episodes but as coherent and solid seasons they never seem to gel together that well. Darryl and Carrol characters have been pretty good additions/improvements to the comic storyline who are at least midly consistent and relatively tantrum free. There have also been plenty of lemon actors with all the minor roles that were needed to add to the body count of the show too.

Still seem to be plenty of folks enjoying the show so who am I to say otherwise but for moi it's relegated to "watch it when it's free on Netflix" league now as I've been watching it for the sake of it hoping it will get better for a long time. Maybe I expected a little too much, hoping for that Battlestar Galactica style show with zombies with good story arcs and character developments which would still keep the FX budget relatively low. Closest I've come so far is reading World War Z.

Yeah, I can agree with that. I've never felt sick watching a TV show or movie before but this got me! Maybe it's got something to do with the hangover too...
I watched the first episode today, felt exactly the same! The episode has haunted me all day. Although I'm not affected by gore, it's the depth of the characters and how they've been treated. Definitely a new level of immersion for me.

What's your actual problem with it?

If you look back at the whole series...

Nothing much has really happened....A Lot of it is Filler...

I'm not dissing the show....But people do put it on a pedestal.

The whole show is mediocre at best with the odd really good episode.

hardly any character development....Hardly any real adventure...

Go out go to a shop...get attacked by zombies...survive...rinse and repeat.

I gave up at S5 then binged my way through S6 cause I was off work ill....

I think the Walking Dead is habit for most....A bit like watching Eastenders....Nothing really happens but the odd show will be newsworthy...Like burning down the queen vic :p

Not the most enjoyable episode but necessary to understand more about Neegan. Still not clear how he's managed to build this gang, some more details would be nice but I guess that might come later.

At the end of ep1 where Rick is kneeling and Negan and his crew are leaving, in the background you see someone taking a photo of Glens remains... I'm pretty sure that's the Polaroid from that scene.

From the last season when Rick's gang raided one of Negan's bases. One of the rooms had a wall filled with Polaroids of dead people with their head smashed in. At the time you didnt know what it was but turned out to be Negan trophy room from Lucille's victims. Guess that is just the way he reminds his people and others who is in charge and what happens if you dont obey. Glenn is just another picture on the wall. :(

Ok one listen through this song and it can drive you mad....
