.Cheers Moogleys, you seem to be impressed with yours. Gonna have to sneak it in.
Funny, the display model in Currys had the back peeling off badly. Eager to get it home and see what it's like. Am very thankful for the 5 year warranty!
well no more support after december. so good luck with any new apps you want in future.
I have a sony tv too btw, the android has always worked fine but i got mine after they ironed out all the initial bugs.
i only have 1 app on it i use, i wouldn't dream of bloating it up with kodi, etc.
I intend to buy this too! Any idea how long the offer is on? Cant get down til weekend!
Unsure how long it will go on for, but RS and JL have now also price matched the 55KS7000. The fact they've price matched should make the current price more sticky.
It comes with 8GB of space to install software, why would you not? As far as your "not working after December" comment, utter crap.
Ah damn.. I caved in.

Expensive lunch break.
Box looks quite slim wonder if it will sit across my back seats! They Dont fold down in my car!
So tempted by that 55KS7000
My UE55H6400 isn't even 2 years old and there's nothing wrong with it, but I do want HDR and 4K...
Will I notice much of a difference in gaming (not 4K just picture quality and performance in general)?
or LG to patch this years with HDR Game mode.
It is quite a slim box but my car is an estate, so the box looks deceivingly smaller in the photo.
I'll measure the box for you if you like when I get in.

Is that on the cards do you know?
I don't want to slow the UI down any. I have 1 app and that is all I need. The tv is used purely for PS4 and XB1. I have an 4K HDR LG TV in the living room and a panasonic plasma in the bedroom. The sony is in the games room as such doesn't get used for tv use. The 1 app I do have on it was just to test out an IPTV service.
There has been plenty of comments on how kodi, etc lags the OS. Supposedly software updates has fixed or improved this but I don't need any of that stuff. the tv is used as basically a large monitor and nothing else.
Stoodles I think you need 65" tbh, wait for next years OLEDs or LG to patch this years with HDR Game mode.
With how far I am away from my TV now, I wouldn't want 65", I think it would be too big
i checked again on my phone and was still available to reserve and collect so waited for someone else to double check but no one came so i gave up
My old 50" Panasonic weighs 43kg with the stand!
pz80? my th50pz80b is 43kg with the stand / 38 without. Mines wall mounted, its not too much bother getting it up there. Good job i dont have to do it very often though
