The 24-year-old had forgotten that she had left her 14-month-old daughter, Robyn Andrews-English, unsupervised in an adult bath after drinking alcohol.
During the six-day trial jurors heard how Gregory, a mother-of-two, ran out of her home after she realised her daughter was missing, asking passers-by where her baby was. The court heard how she shouted that she had left Robyn for "less than 10 minutes" but afterwards Gregory said she was "so busy" and only went downstairs briefly,

10 years is enough imo. Made an error of judgement that plenty of people are guilty of but that mistake killed 4 people.

I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I was responsible for something completely avoidable like that.

I wonder how husband & father thinks. Mobile phones & anything else distracting driver banned for good, no smoke, no phone....wireless via bluetooth maybe.

There was no intent, just utter carelessness. Does that deserve the same time as a proper murderer?

Yes, because accidents like this are only going to go up as people are using their phones more and more.

Being caught using a phone needs to be given incredibly harsh punishments = car crushed + licensed revoked levels of punishment.

Causing an accident like this may as well be on the same level as murder with intent. The moment you pick that phone up and look at the screen you made a conscious decision to turn your vehicle into a weapon that you are not in control of.

Those that have lost someone will always want a harsh/harsher sentence. Taken from a standpoint where no emotions are involved, 10 years seems fine. He is a normal bloke that made a big mistake. 10 years lost and 4 deaths on your hands to take to the grave....

You know the consequences whilst driving with a phone in your hand. Everyone is reminded about the dangers it can cause but choose to ignore. You may as well drive with your eyes closed and hope for the best. Because of this moron, innocent children died. This man would have gone through full training to become a lorry driver. In my eyes he deserves life.

Living with 4 deaths is a life sentence. He'll learn to deal with it over time, but he'll never forget. He'll never get another driving job either (this is good).

Not long enough imo,I still see lots of people on their phone in the mornings when coming back from work,And funny enough its mostly women..they just dont get it.
PUT THE PHONE DOWN!

Our laws regarding this need to be looked at i think,It should be so if your caught with your phone in your hand while driving = Driving ban for 10 years & Instantly loose your licence,Then you need to re-take your lessons after the 10 years.

Now thats a deterrent imo.

And still nobody learns.
There are at least 30 replies to this until I post "Naughty boy, taking pictures and posting on Facebook while driving" and people defend him.
