Why is Witcher 3's DLC in the poll.

Doom for me too.

I enjoyed ROTTR and Xcom 2, but Doom was just so satisfying to play - it's everything that made me enjoy FPS games when they were all I played.

The list was created by going through all the previous posts and copy-paste the games that people had said were their favourite games this year.

If only I had taken the time to phone all the people who had still to post...

Anyway, I decided to vote for ROTTR as I had forgotten that was released this year.

Because it's essentially a full game, most publishers would have launched it as such for about £40.

Nah, it is a very good game. People from what I have seen are unhappy with performance/bugs. But the game it's is very good. Some great levels!

But performance surely comes into the equation, and they seem to have done a poor job with it.

Stuck my vote in for The Division. It has been my best game of the year and I am still really enjoying it.

Apparently they are fixing it. But in the mean time I just played and completed it with a controller and it worked fine for me

Also Doom was had fantastic performance day 1, then boosted further for AMD with Vulcan API. iD Software really know how to produce a polished game.

Yeah they just released a 5gb patch for Mafia 3 which is meant to fix a lot of the bugs/graphics. Not yet tried it myself yet.
