+1. I spent an hour scrubbing my bike last week, 5 minutes on the road it looks like I've been offroading in absolute filth!

Haha yes I'm very aware of this pain, my previous bike was also White. Must be something wrong with me.
I was going to fit my rear hugger this lunch (will help a little against road grime, mostly for CF bling
) and even got necessary bolts and washers from screwfix, but found one mounting hole has rubbish access so will have to wait till I'm home.

There's something not right about riding an Italian bike in this weather, my Aprilia is tucked up under a cover and under a car port at the end of the drive, soon to be tucked up in a garage.
Yeah I reckon as soon as I've cleaned it and put some ACF50 on I'll put it under a cover, disconnect the battery and wait for Spring.

They're no more expensive than any other bike to buy. Running costs - maybe a bit more expensive but not by much for the current/modern bikes.
You can pick up a standard 848 for £6k.

Winner winner winner! Still love my R6 but would love a Panigale. When I eventually do change bike I think it'll be a case of my heart wants a panigale but my head wants a 1kRR
Yup, mine was relatively bargain. I wasn't actually looking for one but it came up during a cursory search when I was bored. It's a 'Cat D' which means written off due to cosmetic damage. One of the previous owners dropped it coming out of a junction iirc, repaired with new bodywork bits and it's all good. Made sure to test ride everything was OK, checked all the panels, service history wise it's been very well looked after too.
If I was budgeting £6k I probably would have looked at something else.

I'm pretty happy with it as it is, I'm going to leave it stock and if it's still here after Christmas I'll stick a different can on it and also a tail tidy. Heated grips maybe.
