Tried 3421 last night actually isnt as bad i was expecting tbh, think i need to try different CMs though as gpt dembele and herrera atm with dembele to stay back while attacking. Using mertens- lukaku-shaqiri upfront but might swap it around and try perisic-IF manduzik-SIF salah
 
Best i got in rewards was shaqri and sterling . Got a new squad to try so going to get building that tonight . When do the month rewards get released ?
 
I will try that formation again with that guide, diva.

In the mean time I'm going to plan B to get to the weekend league, 5221...it always gets me there in a disgusting way.
 
Sitting on 170k at the minute, tempted to upgrade Marquinhos, Braithwaite and Cavani to their In-forms, (Cavani's 1st) .Trouble is my BPL team seems to need improving. Winning more matches with Ligue 1 side yet i feel the BPL team is actually better.
 
BPL striker spec me?

Pairing him with 7 chem Martial in 41212-2.

I have 37k so Vardy and Lukaku are the main options.

Been tempted by IF Defoe as well as anytime I went up against him he always scored.

Other options are keep saving for one of the IF Wingers ie. Walcott/Bolasie/Depay/Shaqiri
 
Lukaku, Batshuayi and Firmino are all very good, depending on what you want.

edit: really enjoying the cup games now I've not got to worry about qualifying, just mucking about with Martial up front and trying to score some nice goals.

Pleased you found it worthwhile , I think sometimes its easy to forget you're playing Fifa to have fun.
There is no doubt about it 3421 is fun , if players don't dive in you can hold it up with the ST and let 4 wide players overlap to swamp their defence great fun. Also if the other player is bombing forward with his full back swap to 343 then you have huge overlaps on the wings.:)

I've just tried this all out with my EPL team and it felt so damn good. I won 3-1 but should have scored more. Felt like everyone was making good runs and always there for a pass. Thanks for sharing.
 
Made a new team in 3421 so much fun to use dont know why i never really tried it before using carrasco-gameiro-candreva now and its deadly going forward. Just miss using ben arfa dont think he would cope playing at ST.
 
has anyone scored a corner in this game? I have no idea what to do with them as a ball in the box just seems a very easy way to give the ball away with no chance of scoring...
 
I've scored probably 2 corner goals since they nerfed heading. I play it short almost everytime now. Play it near post after using 'run near post' if you cba for short corners.
 
2 things have been infuriating me lately. The inability to select and defend with my midfielders first time of asking. Even when the ball is in front of them it'll select my CBs first. Also, teammates blocking your shots and runs. The amount of times I have successfully cut inside with Hazard and got a finesse off only for it to be blocked a teammate...
 
Trying this 3421 then, a very unconvincing 2-1 win. How do you not get exposed on the wings?

edit: played 4 games with it, very fun going forward against not very good opponents, anyone that is decent seems to just abuse you on the wings.

Firmino and Eriksen? or Batshuayi, he's cheap and very good, nice blend of strength and pace.

So I decided to mix it up and try a new Serie A squad with Dybala. On paper this should be so good... I hope it doesn't suck.

edit: okay Dybala is on a different planet. Wow.

Exact opposite it for me , wings are fine with the covering LM/RM and then if that fails CM's tracking back while 3 CB's remain solid. Through ball can be pain though
