Wait, I looked up Zelda straight away and on Wii U it's £40, but on Switch it's £60? What an absolute joke.
Launch PS4 is £400? PS2 was £500.
The Wii was £250 for years.
£280 launch is normal?
/wait for but the expected PS4 is more powerful reply
Have not seen the launch or read much, but seeing people moaning about the price is quite funny, most would be willing to by an Ipad for £350+ with 32gb yet complain about a portable gaming system.

It won't need much internal memory anyway with cartridges being used. It'll just need save states and virtual console games which will take up next to nothing.
Actually, it charges via USB C. http://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/2017/1/12/14258156/nintendo-switch-usb-c-compatible-standard-charge-cable
Which not all that many phones(even a few of the latest gen) currently use. But yeah, so long as you bring it's cable then you can charge it without the dock.

One issue I have, is once Zelda, MK8, Mario etc. are in my hand after the first month or so, I don't expect I will buy a great deal after that.
I get all the consoles so I don't need to be convinced to buy it.
I will buy this when the price drops. The launch lineup is terrible.

I would spend more than that on an IPad (and have done) because it offers vastly more utility than a switch.
Surely the derpiest comparison ever.
