Online lobby's and voice chat is handled by a smart phone app, seriously? How bare bones is their OS?

Yeah, the whole thing seems weird. I mean I can understand it wouldn't be bad to have smartphone control if for instance, you're playing a game and it doesn't have context type switching then you can use an app on a phone to invite someone to your current game. THat isn't terrible, but it sounds to me like there won't be anything on the console at all. Like a lobby on the console in which you can join friends then enter a game together. They way they said it sounds like it's only done via a smartphone, which is frankly nuts.

I thought there was going to be a new Pikman game for launch? I'm sure they have said they would be a while ago?

Out of that list, there are either 0, 1 or 2 titles that I did, or would have bought on those consoles. Yes it's disappointing in terms of numbers but a lot of garbage comes with launch day too.

Well yes because the Switch launch line up isn't full of garbage is it. Not only is there only 4 games only one is worth keeping an eye on. Skylanders, Just Dance and 1-2 Switch ?

I'm ok thanks.

This was kinda my point. Nothing in any of those lists is exactly mind blowing in my opinion. So my point still stands.

My point wasn't that the switch launch games weren't garbage, but rather than despite larger line ups on previous consoles there are typically only a couple of games worth buying. That holds true for most consoles on launch.

One great game is much better than ten bad ones clearly.

Nintendo shares just took a dive. 5% down. Not surprised.

They really should have waited until the end of year and release with more games and with the more powerful new tegra.

I can't get over 1,2 Switch costing $50. Who can press this button, once, faster than the other one while moving your wrist a bit.... $50 for that? Seriously that should be a 100% free demo that comes with the console as standard.

I'm fine with the line up. As a massive zelda fan, I'm all over that. Once I complete(which could be a while) if nothing else is out, then I've got the pc and XB1 to play as I'll be bouncing between them all anyway. If you're just gaming on console, then yeah, awful lineup. But if you've got more than one gaming platform then you've got nothing to worry as you'll never ignore the other platforms.

But, I would happily guarantee that's not the whole launch line up. More will come up now the events over. Mario Kart in April. I think they are more staggering the big games, as if they all get released at the same time, people would complain their isn't enough games being released. Besides, with limited stock, most folk might not have one till a few months after release.

Yes just like Apple shares do every time a new product is announced.

Yeah Halo sucked didn't it, as did Forza, Wipeout, Ridge Racer, Project Gotham Racing.

Somewhere in Nintendo headquarters someone was giving a choice to make, rush for Zelda being ready, in doing so can only release one new AAA title probably before the end of the year, only get a MK8 port 2 months late and have to use last gen hardware with worse battery life and less performance or wait till xmas 2017, have double the battery life in undocked, double the performance docked and have 3-4 new AAA games ready and a bunch of ports ready to release with 15+ games. Someone actually chose the first rather than the second option, that guy shouldn't be trusted with the lunch order.

There shouldn't be limited stock given what's in the machine.

Nintendo need to build the hype and strike while its hot...which was this morning not in a months time if they announce another game at launch.
