Future Classic 10k

Clio Trophy 182, they are going up and up in value, mines worth £1k more in 4 years of ownership

I can see these going the way of the 205 gti. I think all the ragged and abused examples will be dead in a few years leaving only the unmolested and pampered versions left, which will attract a premium price.

I'd also chuck the EP3 Civic Type R into the above as well, don't see very many these days and they were absolutely iconic.

Rover 200 Vi

That's an interesting call. I own one of those too jointly as a track car. Although its been parked up for two years with a growing amount of mayo in the oil.

I can see the BRM's fetching reasonable money in a few years. I'm not sure the standard VI will due to the general bad rep they have.

It is a shame what happened to MG. Now they are Chinese and are properly awful cars. Another iconic British brand down the toilet :/

If I had 10k to spend on a future classic I would probably buy either a 986 Boxster S or another 996. In fact for 10k there aren't many cars I would rather own. I would probably go with the boxster to be honest as a 10k 996 might not be that great a proposition and is likely to need vast sums of money thrown at it.
