This update is amazing fun for me. No one can defend against dribbling anymore! I didn't realise how many people were using UI defending before...glad I never did :D

I've had a little stab at putting something together for you.

I think if I remember correctly you already have SBC Costa, so you'd just need to do SBC Ibra, which should cost about 750k.

I've not played with this personally, but I know Nep raves about having Costa and Ibra in midfield, both big strong lumps, and then Kante in there to be an annoying little git.

Defense is basically your cookie cutter standard BPL back line.

Should cost about 1.9 mil all in.
 
Was besting someone 4-1 which would've promoted me to div 1 undefeated. What do you know, disconnects and gives me the loss :o

Thanks mate, may do it with standard Ibra, don't fancy committing 750k to another untradeable. Already got Costa, Can, Dembele, Fernandinho untradeable and it's a lot to tie if you don't get on with it.

NIF Ibra is artificially high at moment due to the SBC so maybe for when he's out of it.
 
Boateng is different gravy at CB, just so strong and has a great touch as well which I always think helps with a CB. Vidal was a bit small and weak, actually prefer Sanches in there as someone to break up the play. Alaba is okay, very similar to Alex Sandro, certainly not worth the 90k but I need him in there for chem.

2 million is a bit short of the BBVA super team

I'll play some folk later, want to keep testing this team against WL caliber.

If you've got that kind of coin I wouldn't bother with a PL-only side as the team you can get for 100k is about as good as you can get for 1m.
 
I really don't get this game at times lol.

Been playing awful since patch but managed to get promoted to division 4 go on to lose every single game. None of my players were even trying. Changed a few things in my custom tactics and player instructions and I just romped to the Div 5 title. People quitting left right and centre because I was roasting them in the first half.


3rd inform Kane is worth holding onto until the winter upgrades right?

Well there are players like Hazard, Pogba, Aguero that are better but considering how good and how cheap the likes of Kanté, Matic, Martial, Lukaku are, it just doesn't seem a good league for silly coins. There are no top centre backs compared to Ramos or Boateng, absolutely no right-sided players that are any good, I just think if you've got loads of coins there are much better options.

Been trying the switch to 41212(2) in game like every pro seems to do, the link-up somehow seems better in midfield and it's easier to create chances than the 4321 I'm used to playing.
 
I can't believe you actually answered Stewy! I've played about 300 games with 41212 (2) and it's really well balanced.

Anything I find is , its easy to get sucked into the 1-2 spammy with the top 3. Need to remember you do have CDM and CM's to pass back to. Easy not to when you're winning however when back to back losses happen its all too easy.

BPL CB's are the best ive used and ive used Ramos who is garbage, Cheillini who is also garbage (Bonucci is far and beyond him) and Boateng is good but no better/worse than Smalling and IF Reid/Kosc. The BPL is the best league bar non for anything under 2M due to the average BBVA midfield being woeful.

I'll never have a team what ever the idea without Smalling and Walker init hence hybriding them into my Serie A squad.

Quinnaay you might have just saved me messing about to fit Ramos into my team , happy with Varane but was toying with the idea of trying Ramos again post patch.

Not sure if you're aware dude, but when change formation in game player instructions are lost, so you'll need to reset them!
