Why OcUK mods allow this kind of chav behaviour on here is quite beyond me? this whole GD thing reeks of old school boy mentalist racism that harks back to even what the previous owner would not stoop to in his own worst ways.

I've seen the video and it's a complete overreaction by a couple of idiot cops who got there backs up when he refused to give his details, which he doesn't have to do.

police there get a report fro ma woman shes been assaulted in town about 30 mins ago, description of the attacker, 5'10" white male, black hair, beard grey shirt and blue jeans. she think he said his name was steve but shes not sure.
a description that roughly fits me.
the polcie see me in town and stop me to check if i am the suspect.
I can tell them who i am, show id and where i came from so they can check and leave contact details should they need to follow up.
or i can shout "**** OFF I'M NOT GIVING YOU MY NAME"
now the polcie at this point do what?
"oh ok then off you go, hope you're not the attacker"
or arrest me, and if i attack them use force to arrest me.

TBH if you are reasonably suspected of a crime because you match the description of the criminal, you can be arrested for refusing to give your details.
Not really, try reading the story or the thread perhaps. They believed him to be a crime suspect.

Police do get excellent taser training but it is the individual that makes the choice to discharge it.
I wasn't there and I don't know the build up to the incident but unless the subject has a weapon and presents an immediate threat, intel that they may have a weapon and don't comply or become seriously violent to the point that Taser is your best tactical option then I don't use it.
In the OP link, personally I would not have gone to Taser.
I have used Taser five times since being trained in early 2016 and the presence of it alone resolved the incident without discharge. It is an excellent tactical option but it does have limitations.

I don't know what the regulations are as to taser usage but why people are so anti police-cooperation is beyond me. Even if you don't HAVE to give your name, it's still a bit idiotic and to me just screams guilt.

Because these days many would rather stick to the exact letter of their rights to stick it to the man and become a YouTube superstar rather than use a bit of common sense and lead a quieter life because that makes you a submissive and one day those same police you were sensible with will break down your door in the middle of the night and you'll never be seen again.
He's rhasta and caribbean, you might think he looks gross but the non racists here understand that different people look exactly that, different. Right, but what they can't do is physically assault you in an attempt to get you to tell them your name. They touched him first. Wrong. Either arrest or let go, don't pussy foot around assaulting and demanding a name.
