As I understand it: 16x for graphics direct to CPU, 4x for storage direct to CPU, 4x between CPU and chipset.

Since the 4x to the chipset is PCIe 3.0, it can become 8x of PCIe 2.0 and that is used for the mobo's built in peripherals and remaining slots.
 
My guess is NDA expires at 18:00 and a bunch of reviews go live.

Wouldn't surprise me if OCUK pre-order page goes live at about the same time but you never know.

Or maybe they have the throne built, the nice lady has just left the building and they've got the blighters ready to ship. Who knows?

Hmmm so no 6c/12t and below for pre-order today or at launch, only 8c/16t. Oh well, I wouldn't be pre-ordering until I see reviews and benchmarks anyway, plus it will give me at least another month of savings to add to my budget!

NDA is tight... you'd of thought it was like that! expect it to be AMD in house first
 
All I want to know is, can the 1700X be overclocked to 4.5GHz or more :D

I am happy with IPC from what I can see. But lets wait and see some proper gaming benchmarks first I guess.
 
So still a week until actual reviews?

Bit of a shame it's only the 8 core variants being avaliable first, was hoping for some of the 6 core ones to be released at the same time as well.
