best place for stag do? or best company?

I had my stag in Amsterdam and it was awesome!

I also planned it all myself as the Stag companies were charginh stupid amounts for something I could get cheaper.
 
What do people usually do on a stag do besides drinking? What activities?

Paintballing is out. I was thinking something like karting or horse racing etc.

I hate organising this because I have no bloody idea! Lol

If you don't mind me asking what sort of money are people expected to shell out? Any idea what yours cost each?

I'm in the process of organising one myself. What kind of people are going? What are they into? What is your stag into? What can they afford? - There are a fair few activities which won't single out people for not being very "skilled" at anything. I also don't want to organise too much and let things happen naturally, no day / night that is too planned has ever been fun imo.
 
Did Vilnius, Lithuania for a mate of mine's Stag. Great place for a good drink - really friendly people too. Most of the bars are just around the corner from the Central Novotel so you can fall into bed easily too.
 
Off on my brothers stag to Prague in June. 3 days. Any suggestions I should pass on to the best man?

It's the money limitations because I don't actually know whose invited si I can't book anything until I get definite numbers and answers. I think it's mainly office people, mostly in thirties. Stag is into motorbikes but no one else really is I don't think. I'm just thinking have a laugh in the day, meal, drinks, Hotel then maybe repeat next day? I don't actually know anybody apart from the stag really lol.

Right, Berlin last weekend.

Chilli sauce activities were awful. The bar "guide" was shocking - some Russian girl with her fella who appeared and left often. The second night we binned her and did our own thing. The strip club was shocking also.

However...when we did our own thing it was brilliant - club Havana was amazing, people dancing and dressed like they don't care, we had a great time. Luckily bumped into a load of American student girls...turned out to be a great night.

In summary...

Positive

Beers.
Good clubs.
Good looking women.
Reasonable cost
Beer tour on horse/cart
History

Negative

Far too spread out - taxi everywhere
Cold/wet
Germans don't really like the British.
Some bars won't let you in/say private function. Baring in mind we were all professionals in our 20's/30's with a couple of k in cash between us, it was rather frustrating.

I think somewhere with a nightlife centre is better, I.e prague. However we had a great time.

I've been working there for 9 months, once you get out and about with a few locals you end up in some proper radge places. I'm a big fan of any pub where you can get a round of 5 drinks for under a tenner!
 
Amsterdam is crap IMO.

Marrakech has everything Amsterdam has bar coke for less than a quarter of the price, albeit it has the biggest pro, decent weather.

Marbella is also overated IMO.

Thailand is worth a shout but very expensive to get to especially for a short stag with the travel times. You would need to spend a week there spread over 3 different areas.

Budapest or Prague is the only other destination I can think of bar ludicrous suggestions like Vegas, Cancun and Dubai, etc. Too far and too expensive for a stag.

Always recommend the Casino for a stag do. Worked a treat on mine and you let yourself go a little crazier than you normally would :)
