Shots fired outside parliament - Please refrain from speculative and antagonistic posts

Listening to Quentin Letts live on BBC, it would appear the paramedics are still working on the stabbed policeman on site, so potentially serious that he hasn't been moved.
 
Looks like two incidents here. An officer being stabbed and some folks being mowed down by a car.
 
That walkway over the bridge is always completely crammed with tourists to the point you need to walk in the bus lane to get over. Fingers crossed no fatalities (apart from the plum who carried it out).
 
As sad as this is and I do hope people injured survive, this will no doubt result in even more laws and powers being drafted up.

No it isnt, there are plenty done by others too, all the usual suspects jumped to the same conclusion over the attack at the Dusseldorf train station (you included iirc) but it turned out to be a eastern European guy.

It may well be Islamic terrorism, it seems their mo, but let's wait and see and not jump to conclusions.

And even if it is, to be fair, i'm amazed there aren't more attacks, they are at war with us
 
I love how some people immediately go on the defensive.Until the facts turn up nobody can say with any certainty who did it, but there's a reasonable assumption of who carries out such attacks...

Sky news reporting that the car ran a number of people over, (possibly 10+), then crashed into the fencing around Parliament, the attacker then exited the vehicle and attacked the police officer he was then shot by another officer.

Obviously though things are going to be pretty confused right now so just need to give it a bit of time.

probably not, but then he probably doesn't turn up at a plane crash and shout out lies about how dangerous planes are either
 
Dunno why so many assume it must be Islamic terrorists, it could well be the IRA ramping back up now their previous leaders dead.

looks like 1 car 2 men given the political climate i wouldn't assume homegrown or foreign national attack yet. shots appear to have come from police shooting the attackers.
and possibly the car hit people on the bridge first :(
