LBC just stated that Tobias Ellwood MP (who helped give first aid to him) confirmed that the policeman died at the scene.

My son is on a school trip to London to visit the theatre tonight.

Perhaps a small positive to take is the number of citizens willing to help from what I can see in the pictures posted online - it's very courageous to stick around in danger when others have been attacked.
