Explosion in St. Petersburg - Please avoid speculation and show some respect

I'm simply pointing out that it shouldn't be a surprise that people fight back in any way they can when they see their fellow country men, women and children being killed!
America/trump & Russia have recently increased bombings with a significant effect on civilian casualtys and deaths, the link is valid imho

Typical line for apologists of western aggression and civilian death!
Got any decent evidence to back that claim up ???

Are you being serious there?

I mean aside from the vast stacks of evidence that isis are using women as sex slaves and the whole trapping hundreds of thousands of people in thier occupied cities?

If you want specific human sheilds directly on a target here you go

Its thier fellow country men doing the vast majority of the killings though....

So because other Syrian fighters are killing more civilian people they should forget about the hundreds of civilians being killed by America & Russia
I don't think revenge/retribution works like that, you tend to go after the people directly responsible!!

I see C.R.A.Z.Y is being his usual self in this thread. I'd go into what I mean by that, but I value my forum membership.

RIP to the innocent people involved.

But when you continue to bomb knowing the shockingly high civilian death ratio you start to loose the moral high ground imho, you dilute the 'good guys' label when you continue actions knowing full well that they will result in high levels of innocent civilian life being lost
Violence begets violence.

Which woupd be the jihadist in the vast majority of cases would it not?

Isis et al have killed hundreds of thousands but you think the hundreds of deaths caused fighting them are the bigger issue?

I never said that, I pointed out that this horrible vicious circle of death and destruction won't be solved by either side upping the death count!
Having the mindset that the west/us can do no wrong and it's all the baddies fault is neither helpful or constructive!

Yet you just argued that isis using human sheilds is an apologist lie and then quietly ignored all the evidence and moved onto this new track of ita recenge for the bombings which doesn't make sense as revenge for the locals would be against isis/assad or that most of these terorists arent from Syria

CCTV pictures of suspected St. Petersburg bomber have appeared on social media.

Suspect is not Amish. I repeat, the suspect is not Amish.

:)

C.R.A.Z.Y, ******* do one with your deflect and defend tactics as usual, all you are doing is trying to get the thread shut down with your utter betty swallocks drivel!

e: One of your pals will be along doing the same thing shortly.

Suspect who threw in or planted the briefcase bomb inside the train.

Looks like Rasputin is back for revenge!

I was thinking Sacha Baron Cohen at first glance :)

If it turns out to be Syrian related then it's most likely in retaliation for this:

Russian Airstrikes in Syria Seem to Be Hurting Civilians More Than ISIS
Source

And so the vicious circle of hate, violence and death continues :(
Utterly depressing with no end or peace in sight....

I think you're off on that one, if it turns out to be ISIS, then it's going to be in retaliation for the ISIS deaths in Syria, not civilian ones....no-one gives a **** about them, the Russians, Syrians or ISIS

Now my wife's city attacked by Greek Orthodox terrorists, we've been to that station many times. Crazy foaming away as usual, every normal in OCUK land.

I read that 500 bombs were dropped on ISIS positions in one week a few weeks ago, going to increase now. Sad all around.

Yea Russia will carpet the entire place they think they are hiding in, like the did in Syrian cities. Them getting more involved isn't good.

Western intervention has actually been effective in that regard, targeting their cash stores and command centers. Russia's however has shown to be anything but, their bombing campaigns have shown to be indiscriminate those will likely increase and perpetuates the vicious cycle of terror attacks, either due to radicalised sympathisers back home or them joining as an ISIS fighter.

I'm not sure what your source is. The Russian army spent a couple of months at considerable cost and risk, maintaining a safe corridor for civilians to flee Aleppo prior to the bombing. I would not say Russia has done any less to protect civillians in their military actions in Syria than the West and arguably has done more.

In any case, RIP to the victims and my thoughts with their surviving loved ones and friends.

I think this is quite clearly wrong but it isn't really the place to discuss it at length - the UK is pretty careful with its bombing and very efficient at avoiding civilian casualties, the US is better than Russia too tbh.. perhaps less stringent approach than the UK but still generally single, guided munitions. Russians on the other hand are quite happy to drop a load of unguided bombs through cloud cover even. The approaches are pretty different and to argue there Russians have done more than the West to protect civilians is a bit silly.
