Well yesterday I was meant to be going camping over in Snowdonia with the missus and dog but she didn't fancy the rain so I ended up sanding and painting woodwork instead ready for the new flooring being fitted on Tuesday. We postponed the camping to today and now tomorrow looks pretty miserable with 40mph winds and rain all night so I'm going climbing instead. Followed by beer tonight and food festival tomorrow.

Getting drunk in kiev then heading onto pripiyat (getting blind drunk) then a tour of Chernobyl and getting slightly less drunk then home.

It's mega cheap here and the hotel has a great strip club with room service. (Posh hotel as well)

Ukrainians do not smile either, you can tell a westener from 150m as they are apparently have a general happy outlook.

Not by guessing the families at breakfast.... It really was a decent hotel.



Done a fair few bit of travelling over the years, but this has to be in my top 5 places to visit. Highly recommended. Will be downloading stalker if UKRAINIAN airlines and Kiev airport actually become efficient has to the worst airline ever along with airport, but it all adds to the fun
