should do it gibbo would be a very rare sight on uks roads

The Mustang is still a rare site, even now people ask what it is still and get out phones to take pictures. :)

But yes the ZL1 looks like a fantastic all round bit of kit. Come on GM launch them in RHD, am sure they'd sell like crazy, afterall 650BHP, V8, Manual, RWD, its a proper drivers car with insanely good handling and huge power and it would be around 60k, would be another bargain of the century. We definetely need the US car manufacturers to start offering more in the EU, Ford proved their is a freaking huge customer base for them, but I guess its because the EU has gone all auto, turbocharger, economy route whereas people who enjoy driving want bit brash American cars, with big dirty V8's and three pedals and stick to stir around with a huge amount of power and noise. People will buy them, even if Camaro sold half of what the Mustang did, that would be an epic result and pretty much guaranteed as in the US it is always Mustang VS Camaro for sales with the Dodge Challenger always in 3rd place.

I do love my Mustang, I would love an GT 350, but sorry Ford, even though I feel the Mustang is the better looking car, I'd be taking the Camaro ZL1 everytime:

:D
well if i had the money........ha ha joke, i'd get one of the new Challengers (2017 or 18 model)....................i prefer the looks of the GT350R to the Camaro.

it's a personal thing only, but to me the Challenger looks epic !

Challenger is the best looking, but they all drive like poo, MY2020 is when they get the new platform.

Very relevant.

TurboToaster showed up at Santa Pod while a group of us were there Saturday.

I didn't speak to him, but he was having quite a lot of problems with it running badly. To be fair to him, it was running some respectable quick times when it seemed to be running properly

But in fairness so it should, I mean at least your MX5 is a daily and usable.
His car turned up on a trailer and is a full on ultra light race / track car build that weighs as much as a fag packet with an Ebay turbo turned upto 11, one would expect once it was running OK to put good times in, I suspect once it is running spot on it will be blasting down in around 11s around 115-120mph if it truly is capable of near 400HP and is around 750kg area.

He briefly mentioned he was fine tuning it at the strip, but I did not really ask him any questions about the car, its past or future.

Well, never thought I'd be saying that a shooting break Corvette looks damn good, but this looks damn good. Crazy BHP, and that supercharger whine  Think I'd pick one of these if given the choice between anything from AMG or ///M in the same price bracket. It looks so right. Even the standard version with just the wheels and Callaway package would suffice!

Ditto, M2 looks great in the flesh now I've seen a couple. A really nice size car for UK roads imo.

The 'stance' looks perfect too. I'm just wondering if/how much they will depreciate over the next few years - then it might be a good next car for me.

Have to disagree there.... From that point of view it looks as though the Pug had plenty of time to slow down.
