I could agree with 99.99% of what Corbyn wants, but while he is opposed to Trident he's just a no go area for me.
I think Mr Corbyn has missed a trick with Trident TBH. He should be promising a free vote on the issue, while pledging to lead the campaign for disarmament. That would satisfy most while making it clear that he, personally, is opposed to us owning nuclear weapons.
Unless the line-up of MPs changes drastically, I can't see a vote against Trident getting through Parliament any time soon. Even with a Corbyn government, too many would defy the whip on that issue. I don't see how he has anything to lose in pledging a free vote.
like what? having to contribute £billions to the EU budget every year, loss of sovereignty, under-representation in European politics, population increasing by a city the size of Coventry every year. I'm struggling to think of a single good thing EU membership has brought for the UK.
