So nearly bit today but if Amazon had the Grey and not Neon I'd be playing Zelda tomorrow. My time shall come.

Re- Accounts, I think they made this Nintendo Account thing that you can link your NNID to. I think they just did away with the NNID being the main login thing.

Grrr, both my sets of joycons are having issues.

The left grey joycon and the right neon joycon have flaky signals so if you play with your palms on your legs like a normal person then the button presses sometimes lag or the analog stick becomes less responsive.

As I live in Switzerland it's great fun trying to arrange a repair as they don't do customer service in this country.

I'm going to try and get amazon to replace the neon joycons but I need Nintendo to repair the grey ones that came with the console as I don't want to send the whole console to Amazon.

Let me know if they fix the right joycon as they only fixed my left joycon I had to ask nintendo for refund.
 
I wish that auto steering on MK wasn't default. Maybe there will be a patch if people complain or maybe it's just me.

Also getting annihilated by these mega fast Japanese Tetris players atm!
 
What's the story with charging this thing, folks?

I've no doubt this has been discussed but there are *a lot* of posts in here so forgive my laziness - here is what I want...

I want to be able to ditch the stock charger and plug the switch into a USB charging hub like the ones we all have for our phones, tablets etc. I can't see any reason this won't work - am I wrong? I'm thinking something from Anker etc and a USB-USBC cable.

I also want a battery pack for charging this at work, or at least stopping it from discharging. Again, I'm thinking any battery pack and another USB-USBC cable. Again, anything I'm missing?

I can't help but think there's some special power requirements this thing will need that will stop all this from just being a case of plugging it into some sort of USB power and letting it go.

You can charge it from any USB source. A > C or C > C works fine.

I just use a generic battery bank when I'm on the go. Same thing I use with my phone etc.
 
Dodgy left controller. Picked up switch neon yesterday from tesco click and collect.

Dock and screen perfect.

Left controller appears to have the defect.

Easy to open up and put foam in?
