What PC games are you playing?

I must try rage out again (still need to complete homefront + assassins creed unity + hitman first though), I give up a while back due to the texture pop in, it really ruined the game for me :(

Picked up the DLC for Resident Evil 5. Went to play it only to discover that I'd lost the save of my previous playthrough and to play the DLC you have to have progressed so far in the game so I've started a second play through of it and have to admit I'm really enjoying it. For all the negativity surrounding RE5 & 6 I really enjoy playing them...

Ghost Recon : Wildlands.

No expectations of this game at all but im finding it quite enjoyable. Whack up the difficulty, turn off most aids and assist and you have a pretty reasonable game. Looks stunning in places too.

Shadowrun: Hong Kong.

Got this on Steam yesterday for something like £3.50 - really enjoying it, I'm about 2 hours in and it's been quite fun.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.

I've hardly played this before, so for my first run through I've decided to just install the unofficial patch and play it pretty much as originally intended. Though, that said, I may look up some HD textures or something, since understandably, it clearly looks very dated.

I'm playing through this for the first time too - also just using the unofficial patch. I think it's great and whilst as you say it looks a bit dated, it takes nothing away from the experience. I made a critical error though - I purchased my version from GOG which automatically installs the unofficial patch when you launch it from Galaxy, but I made the mistake of sometimes launching it from Galaxy and other times from Steam. What I didn't realise was that launching it from Steam was loading the unpatched version and I started to get some seriously LSD like trippy effects with the graphics - worse still, after completing a mission and trying to back up the stairs from the beach to the main street, the doorway had disappeared - replaced with a wall!! I had to start the game over from scratch. I was about 15 hours in to it as well - I'm still a few hours off where I was but it's such a cool game it hasn't bothered playing it through again. It's shaping up to one of favourite games ever I think, certainly in my top 5 RPGs anyway...

Finally got the patch to work for Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth so have got past the cannon 'blue light' bug. Hoping to get this finished now in the coming days - it's a frustrating game at times but it's also quite brilliant. There sure don't make 'em like this anymore...

That's unfortunate but also amusing to read. :D

Although quite a different situation, it does, however, remind me back when I played Quake Enemy Territory, only for a week later to realize that my impressive score was down to me going up against bots, not actual players..... :D
