I have, but if I remember rightly they all rotate horizontally, so wouldn't wind at all.

A hint of colour is exactly what I don't want, as the watch would have to go with every colour I wear. Plus, hints of colour can also look tacky, rather than timeless.

I would LOVE a new watch, but unfortunately, after taking my lovely Citizen Red Arrows off during a class and forgetting it, I'm watchless. My problem is I have quite small wrists, so most watches look quite (a lot) silly on me.
Go for a 39mm.

I'm not really struck on many 39mm watches - 43mm seems to look okay in my opinion, but I'd say that's the limit.
If you have small wrists then a 43mm is generally going to look disproportionately large.

Agreed. Something plain in colour is understated and can be worn with anything from jeans to suits.

Currently got this. Bought on the steel bracelet, trying out GSOTM strap. What do we think of the colour mismatch (black v grey). Just need to sell a kidney to buy the ceramic buckle now - unless anyone has any alternative ideas.
