I'll definitely give arms a try but I'm still not sure about it as it still seems more like a gimmicky tech demo for the motion controls than a fully fledged game plus I'm not liking the whole art style/theme of the game.

The one idea it did give me was that the motion controls could make for a really cool mech warrior style game if you used the dual motion controls as joysticks to move/fire. That would have been similar but much cooler than arms in my opinion.

Looks like an Ueda game which is ok by me. I haven't read anything about it really but I've seen a couple of trailers. Puzzle adventure games I do like.

I have ultra street fighter 2 on pre order but I can't decide whether to cancel it or not? The price is over the top but I think I'd enjoy it providing the online aspect is good. I'm just a bit worried it might be laggy/unstable. Maybe safer to cancel it until we get some feedback about the online play?

What's everyone's thoughts?

Got back from my holiday yesterday and my repaired left joy con was waiting for me, had an hour on Minecraft this morning and seems to be as good as the right joy con now no issues whatsoever, but they are relegated to handheld mode or multiplayer anyway now I have a pro controller.

Nintendo repaired my left joycons but did nothing to the right ones.

If my hands are too close together I still get laggy/missing button presses on the right joycons :(

From early previews and updates, I'd say it's shaping up to be a decent motion fighter with some good depth to it, I wouldn't say it was gimmicky. Theres a pretty large selection of interchangeable gloves and characters with more to come more than likely (I bet there will most likely be DLC as well).

ARMS and Splatoon 2 are must buys for me!

Think I have been lucky my problems were all on the left one losing signal, the right one was always rock solid.

If you hold them separately (one in each hand) and close together do they still function properly? I find it weird that I get this issue on both of my joycon sets.

Yeah they announced ARMS is getting free DLC updates (stages & characters) post-release.

Same!. I'm going to be almost exclusively playing multiplayer games for the next few months it seems.

How did you go about getting that? I ordered my Switch from Amzon.fr and they just point me back to Nintendo to resolve any issues.

Did you get a full refund or a partial refund for the joycon?

I got full refund for the console from nintendo it was the second console with joy con issues very annoying :(
