Manchester Bombing *** Please remain respectful and refrain from antagonising posts ***

Mass hysteria from people fleeing the arena and potentially trampling injuries is probably enough for GMP to declare it a serious injury, I hope nobody is seriously injured but there's so much BS floating around it's hard to sort fact from fiction.
 
Eyewitness just talking on the news saying that it seems a lot of injuries from the stampede of people trying to exit

A lot of confusion over what and where the bang was
 
From Greater Manchester Police:

'Emergency services are currently responding to reports of an explosion at Manchester Arena.

There are a number of confirmed fatalities and others injured.

Please AVOID the area as first responders work tirelessly at the scene.

Details of a casualty bureau will follow as soon as available.'

It's possible the authorities don't know what's happened yet, so some of this will be standard procedure. Also Victoria station is above the venue so they will have closed that to avoid any further panic in there.
