Yep myself and a load of work collegues who normally vote tory been pooling friends all day, its been quite stunning the number of normal tory votes either voting elsewhere/not voting or spoiling

With the exception of my parents I don't know a single person in my circle of friends (all business professionals) who voted Conservative this time, they were seen as unpalatable.

Anyone else think conservatives want to lose so they don't have to be the party that negotiated brexit?

Absolutely 100%. May has been doing absolutely everything she can to stop people voting for her.

I am truly astonished people are still voting for her, what the heck lmao :D

Why cant people just take her hints and not vote? Some people just want to watch the world burn I guess.

Yea I don't know why they are saying the only one which was wrong was 1992. Recently they ALL seem to have been way off.

But yea, pound already tanking at the prospect of Labour getting in.

Pound tanking at prospect of a hung parliament. If labour had won a majority it was forecast to rise strongly due to markets expect that would mean a softer brexit.

The exit polls correctly predicted a narrow Tory win in 2015.

Yep, people didn't believe the exit polls from memory. No one expected an outright majority as suggested by the polls.

But it did underestimate tory vote.
