I hope the media will attack the DUP on their shameful past as they atacked corbyn for "supporting the IRA"

the dup won't really suffer, it's no secret in northern ireland that pretty much all the parties (with the exception of a couple) have some kind of affiliation like this, as i said before they win votes because people don't want sinn fein and they're the biggest party who can keep them out of power.

its a shame really northern irish politics is such a joke, if the 2 sides could actually agree on issues they both support rather than disagreeing just because the other side likes it there could be really effective government rather than the playground esque fighting we currently get.

"THE Conservative Party has reassured Britain that the government being propped up by swivel-eyed, religious lunatics will be ‘totally fine’.

Ulster’s Democratic Unionist Party was founded in 1971 by the late Ian Paisley while he was stabbing an Action Man he had dressed up as Pope Paul VI.

It is now looking forward to influencing government policy in a wide range of demented areas.

DUP leader Arlene Foster confirmed the party would support a minority Conservative government on condition that Theresa May stands on a massive orange Bible and denounces Roman Catholicism as ‘Beelzebub’s Travelling Circus’.

She added: “Obviously we’ll also be needing a wee ban on abortion, the gayness, scientists and strong liquor.”

A Downing Street spokesman said: “Its very important we have a strong and stable government. But it’s okay if it’s also a tiny bit insane."

Former DUP leader Peter Robinson, for those thinking they are a squeeky clean party with no terrorist links during the troubles.

Oh, the comments on Breitbart right now... the tears, the rage, the meltdowns, the agony...

It's just beautiful.

:D

Interview on the Beeb just now from a 'trendy student'. "I'm a UKIP supporter but I spoiled my paper because I don't agree with the policies of the main two parties".

Why do this? Why not vote for the party you support instead of spoil your paper? I really don't get it.
Kippers didn't field candidates in every constituency

Someone get Andrew Neil something to eat, he keeps calling Brexit, breakfast. He has done it about 3-4 times now. lol

Attacks corbyn for "supporting the IRA".... then gets into bed with the DUP ... after moaning about a potential labour coalition of chaos

Gotta love the irony

Yeah, there is some serious irony - especially as they'll need them to literally stagger across the finish line half dead, it's pretty dire...

one thing this election has shown us is that Farage = UKIP and nothing else. The other thing that we have learned is that continuously shouting strong and stable and coalition of chaos will not hoodwink people into giving you a mandate without also backing it up with substance.
It's also shown us that if you do want to get elected by shouting such things, you'd better also have a catchy jingle to go with it.

The DUP rose out of the Ulster Resistance, a terrorist organisation fighting the IRA. So yes, getting in bed with the DUP is pretty hypocritical.
LOL the DUP severed links with that organisation 30 years ago. Clutching at straws a bit.

1) I'm happy mad may has lost a lot of power - I despise her

2) Not good news with DUP party though - really bad

3) I wish we got along better to form a government of left minded parties, however still not enough votes :(

Labour (261)
SNP (35)
LD (12)
SF (7)
Plaid (4)
Green (1)

320

4) What happens now ? with a tory+dup does this mean even though they would be the 'ruling party' - that they have lost a lot of power and we have importantly reduced the chance of a hard brexit? - If a soft brexit is now much more likely then this is great news.
