What watch do you wear?

The OEM strap on my PAM 351 is really starting to smell! I've done the baking soda method of cleaning and it's too far gone so I'm on the hunt for a nice OEM-like brown croc strap or possibly a vintage style strap, as well as a canvas strap to go with it. Any recommendations?
Been wearing my Seiko Titanium Samurai for the last week, having kept it in the watch box for the last few months. Aside from the flimsy clasp, it's such a comfortable watch to wear. I get so many comments about it too.

Toshi would be a good option

Well, as my watch search continues I have seen a model from Ulysses Nardin that I like...

Ulysses Nardin Classico 3203-136-2/30 https://www.ulysse-nardin.com/product/classico-3203-136-2-30

One of the most beautiful watches I have seen. So simple and elegant without looking like any other watch I can think of.

Heard the re-sale value on them is pretty bad though...
You will take a bath on it if you decide to resell. Looks nice though, very understated which is a change for UN.

Yeah, I guess it would be a heart over head moment. Safer with an Omega or similar I guess. I'm actually warming to Zenith a little now too, now that I have read how much history they have in
innovating.

Sigh, it's so hard to find the right watch.

Another vote for Toshi - great quality straps and a great guy to deal with.

Also try SteveO:

GasGasBones for fabric straps, though you'd need to be patient as Carl does everything himself and is always busy:

And a good selection on WatchObsession:

Think I'll go with a toshi. Completely forgot about his straps. There seem to be a few that crop up on some forums, but for £80 it's less than half of a new Panerai strap.

Anyone here on the Hamtun Watches H1 Kickstarter? :)

I see the watches are starting to ship now. Though I chickened out just before the deadline. Hopefully some full reviews coming soon now that they are shipping.

Yep, I ordered the blue, something different
In with @Skidder

ooh exciting, I was hoping it would be soon

I too went for the blue. Mine gets delivered tomorrow :)

To me CW were always a weak brand and increasingly overpriced, albeit one with decent quality behind it.

Nail very firmly hit with a hammer here. My (only) watch is a CW I bought 5 years ago for £360. I loved (and still do) the look of it and it was a price that didn't scare me for something worn every day. The equivalent based on the model number now looks to be well over a grand. Exchange rates and inflation haven't changed that much !

Unfortunately that's what happens when greed overcomes brand credibility. The moment a relatively new UK brand starts pricing itself like an old Swiss brand then things start to go pear shaped.

Looking forward to some pics :)

May have to wait until after the weekend as DHL have just now decided to send me a text saying it wont be delivered until Monday as the inpost locker (5 minutes from my house) isnt covered by the same depot and so it has to be delivered to the other depot (Docklands instead of Croydon) so they can then deliver it to the locker. On hold now complaining but not holding out much hope.

yep - we are really sorry but there is nothing we can do about it. Bloody useless.

Looking for some strap advice from you knowledgeable folks..

Bought this watch in the sale the other say for £129...

However, ordered a small strap and it doesn't fit. They won't exchange so I'd have to put £100 towards it now to get the same one back. They sell their straps for £45, happy to pay that but wanted to see if there was better quality out there...

So, where do you recommend getting straps from? I'm looking for a suede/leather black ( like this : https://www.larssonandjennings.com/20mm-black-leather-watch-strap-45) and/or a black metal mesh one.

Ooooooh. The watch at the far right (white face - gold rim - brown strap) looks right up my street. I have a watch very similar but it's not great quality. Is Larson Jen a good brand?
