Before the stream, the pod-cast the night-before he announced he would be buying the FE card and benchmark games despite AMD's wish that he didn't.

Flat out don't believe you on this, I watched the stream, and what he said was he'd spoken to AMD quite a lot, and they had no problems at all.

I also watched the stream and posted the screenshots here in the thread - at one point during benchmarking he said he actually talked to AMD again, since I think he was a bit perplexed at the results he was getting. You could tell when he was running the benchmarks he look disappointed.

N19h7m4r3 please just watch the video.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nc6R1hwXhL8&feature=youtu.be&t=7m8s

I have watched the video, so have people at Beyond3d and Vega rasterizers exactly like Fiji does. I have literally shown you the webm people from Beyond 3D uploaded having tested Fiji and it's exactly the same as Vega from the PcPer test.

Vega should look like the middle according to tests from David Kanter and Realworldtech

Yes, about drivers which the told him no gaming drivers, other coms AMD ignored him.

Watch the podcast from the night before, that's when he announced he would be buying an FE card and benchmarking games with it despite AMD wish they didn't.

So your saying the one on the right are Fury top and Vega bottom?

can you send me a link to the whole article please?

He did, He said we should wait for RX Vega if we only want to game but if we can't wait the Frontier edition will make a great 4k gaming card.

No he didn't that's exactly what Raja said.

Point me to where Raja said the Vega Fronter Edition was a 4K gamers card.

Ryan from Pcper stating he'll ask AMD about the Tile Based Rasterization.

40% faster than the FuryX seems ok to me, it just needs to be priced right. It will also improve over time as all the other AMD cards have. The days of 100% performance boost each gen are long gone.

It doesn't matter that its getting hammered off Nvidias gaming cards at gaming, as its not a gaming card like those, its a professional card, that can also be used for gaming, and from what ive seen, thats indeed what its doing, its running the professional stuff, and its also running games.

If all you do is game, and nothing else, then this cards not for you.

clearly they havnt offered any real world performance gains, as seen in the stream and multiple reviews

As far as the stream goes, Ryan may as well have put on a Bikini and bent over infront of the camera. Only clickbait so far.

At no point have we seen any information as to what features were enabled / disabled or % core / % of cores utilisation.

Remember this is a completely new chip running older software designed for old chips. We have no idea of what compatibiliy modes are in place at the moment.

The first image is of the stream, with the text on the right containing people saying they think it looks like Tiled Rasterization.

The images in-between are repeats of Rasterization images already posted multiple times.

The last one is from the PCPer form (not in the stream), a member is telling him he doesn't think Tiled Rasterization is working, 'which he maybe right', he is asking Ryan to query that with AMD, to which he agreed.

That's what i'm seeing, is that correct?

That's a really good point it would be interesting to see the % of GPU utilisation in gaming

Yes that's correct.

If you watch that part of the stream he says some people say its tiled, and some say it's not. Ryan even states he's not sure, and he'd have to watch the video to see which behaviour he's seeing.

Just compare the clip form the Stream to the Fiji test. They're identical.

All the 3rd party tests on Fiji show the exact same rasterization as Vega. It's not just one chap.

So unless Fiji has Tiled Based Rasterization, it doesn't appear Vega does. I've linked you several people have that tested it, one even including a video showing it's the exact same as Vega.
