1/5th of a Lukaku, not bad.
Is he that exciting, never heard of him pulling up trees in the italian league and we are being quoted as paying £40m plus.
I personally expect him to wreck his knee again within a couple of weeks. I hope the insurance is all paid up

£40m is the new £15m.
This is what I think but I keep getting told, albeit by Boro fans that he's not injury plagued, he's just had one bad injury. After the Subotic situation I fully trust the Boro medical staff to spot any issues...hopefully.
I'm not an expert but I think we'll be expecting him to play a bit like Willian. Solid winger who works hard. To be fair we don't have any proper wide players who focus on crossing the ball, so I think he may be pretty good for us. Not cheap though I agree.

Shaun Wright-Phillips cost the equivalent of £105m today!!!!
There are some pretty shocking ones on there. The Shevchenko one especially considering he was 29 at the time as well.
It's funny to see some of the bang average players on that list as well like Stuart Downing and Joleon Lescott.
Szczesny has been sold to Juventus for £10mill. Spent the last few seasons on loan since we signed Cech so couldn't really see him coming back to us.

Yes I forgot about him, since that injury of his and Bellerin taking his place...he hasn't been able to get a look in.
£10mill for Gibbs but WBA aren't willing to match the feee we want for him.
Sampdoria offering £6mill plus £1.5mill in add ons for Wilshere as well.
I think 6 mill for wilshere is unreal, We may as well keep him as feel he could still do a good job.
Will be a good move for Debuchy as he was unlucky when he came and then got injured and then Bellerin emerged.
Gibbs quite versatile but that would be 3 left backs so cant see him getting a game
Absolutely fantastic player and guaranteed goals, Watched him many times when he was at Peterborough and I think a bargain at 15mill given current prices being banded about across the leagues

Neymar to PSG for £195m!
It sounds like it's done, but I'm not so confident. Barca are struggling though. Nowhere near the team they once were. Messi, Suarez and Iniesta all in their 30's and no sign of anyone close to them coming through. Tough times for them. Even the Neymar money isn't that much to replace such players nowadays.

Absolute ludicrous amount of money....how exactly is 195Mil and 30Mil a year AFTER tax getting past Ffp?
If a footballer goes for 195m then the world truly has gone mad.
Suarez and Messi still deliver the goods though, Iniesta not so much.
