That's all there is to it really. I ran from the police once (I was walking home at night and 3 people started chasing me. I Dare you not to run) but they were undercover. As soon as they said they were the police I stopped running.

Well at least I (a) accepted I was mistaken and (b) my version of being wrong is to say something incorrect on a forum, there's is to set fire to my community. I actually appreciate nkata and DailyGeek better informing me! :)

Now he probably died due to choking on these wraps whilst being apprehended after fleeing from the police. Just like the guy a few weeks ago Edson Da Costa whose death also sparked protests is very likely a dealer too who had swallowed packages whilst being apprehended by the police (likely died due to them too)

So... he did stick something in his mouth and it had to be removed from his airways, but it wasn't a controlled substance. Sounds like he choked if it was removed from his "airways". I wonder what he was so anxious to conceal that wasn't drugs, then? Or maybe it was something he thought was drugs and he had been ripped off. Could be a wrap of baking powder for all we know.

Speaking about forensics and autopsies, they do take quiet a lot longer to get done than people believe. Shows like CSI seem to make people believe that you will get tests done and reported in minutes when it many cases can take days or weeks to come back.

I was looking to find how many coroners there is in UK and came upon this statistics about coroners and coroner inquests from 2015.

If I did understand it right, there is 92 coronary jurisdictions with only 32 "whole time" coroners in the UK https://www.judiciary.gov.uk/about-the-judiciary/the-justice-system/coroners/

And for an example of the case load for them, in 2015 there was a total of 32,857 inquests opened in 2015 and a total of 82,206 post mortem examinations done from a total of 236,406 deaths reported in England and Wales. So there will be a quite nice little case load there to be dealth with :D

It's in cases like this where just maybe it would be in every ones interest to speed up this crap and actually say what this dude put in his gob, that ended up killing him, rather than what it's not.
 
Common to sell on as cocaine. Very common. Would be better if we knew if it was multiple packages wrapped in one though.

Exactly what I thought. If you're sticking it down your throat to hide it from police you either think it is illegal drugs or you're mentally ill. Either way it isn't the fault of the police
