So if the undead cannot swim, how did they get the chains on the dragon?

and bran's I see everything and I don't know was annoying lolz

I guess the ones who went in and attached the ends of the chains to the dragon are still there wondering what they can do now.

Unless The Night King dropped more chains down to get his "men" out.

I prefer the latter as I imagine he's a good employer as we don't really see things from his point of view.

Bran can see the future I think. The NK could because of the Dragon bait. Jojen Reed could, he said he knew he was going to die. I don't see why Bran can't. Maybe he's just not skilled enough yet.

Indeed, the more pertinent question is where did the chains come from?

I don't understand why Jon's name isn't Jaehaerys, I would have thought that would be more fitting instead of having the same name as his now deceased brother.

Rhaegar wanted a son called Aegon who would succeed him, but when his marriage to Elia was wiped out, his son Aegon couldn't anymore - so the new child was named Aegon.

? obviously they would have just pulled themselves out w/ the dragon ropes, why would they have just stayed underwater?

also, this let's-go-to-an-island-cos-they-can't-swim plot point; if they're capable of riding horses and dragons and are still sentient, why are we assuming they can't sail a ship?

Nobody knows they've got a dragon except those at Eastwatch

Best episode of the season. Cersei doing her thing, can't wait for her comeuppance.

Glad the snake little finger is dead too. Couldn't stand his stupid whisper voice and his constant weaselling.

Dat blue flame doe :D

I feel like that despite the super sonic travelling, one thing that really suffers this season is a LOT of exposition. Instead of scheming and hinting, they are literally telling the audience what is happening in order to save time.

Anyone think they ran out of money towards the end with the destruction of the wall? Looked quite poor in comparison to other CGI heavy parts of the season. The way it collapsed looked really odd and then suddenly the path was clear in seconds. :p Think the freezing of the sea and then walking around it would have been better.

The real question though: Did Tormund survive!? :(

He should have they all started running west along the way, He should be at the Nights Watch at the start of season 8, it wouldn't surprise me if he rides to Winterfell with what wildlings he has left and the Night's Watch in tow.
