I guess it depends on the sim. I'm getting 5gb and ulmt txt and mins for £16pm on O2.

64gb X is £56.45pm
64gb 8 is £37.95pm

So I'd pay £72.45 for the X or £53.95 for an 8.

That includes AppleCare+ as well

Without is £62.50 for the X and £52 for the 8.

That's a good deal.

I use O2 mainly because they work best for my area.

My main point was that Sim only works out good value if you can pay for the phone outside of the carrier.

Wait and see what the Pixel 2 is like. Having owned an iPhone 6 and now my Pixel, I can say that almost all the worries I had about moving to android vanished with my Pixel and it's near to stock android experience. That said, i'm coming back to iOS as I want to make full use of the apple eco system again.

What is wrong with the Android eco system?
