With my S7 Edge it wireless charges in the Samsung flip folio case with no problem, I hope the same for my new 8...

The Apple web site says you can with their leather case so presumably any non metal case will work... just assumed the glass had to be in contact with the charger..

u surely have to remove the case. I'm a bit bummed at being charged another £50 for a fast charger too.

It should be absolutely fine. My S8+ does wireless charging in a case with no problem so it's pretty much guaranteed that Apple's phones will, too.

Used them before, and never had an issue. Mine and my girlfriends phones before have come from Mobiles

I bought my wife her iPhone 6s almost two years ago and thought I'd check the specs to see what she'll be getting in terms of upgrade to an iPhone 8 should I buy her one. I think I could swap them out when she's not looking and she'd barely notice the difference. Unless I'm missing something?

I couldn't buy her the iPhone X as she'd hit the roof at me spending £1k on a phone. It looks like she'll be entering year 3 with her current model, and there's no way she'd move from Apple to Android.

Just been looking at QI chargers/vertical phone stands on the rain forest, can they be powered from a usb port on a pc or do they have to be plugged into the mains?

Cant find much info on that side of things.

I've ordered from Mobiles for a number of phones - all good... had to ring up a few weeks after and cancel the insurance bundle though. They give you one month free and then it costs. Not sure if they still bundle it in as it's been a while since I last used them.

It's because people are waiting for the X. The 7 wasn't a flop, and the 8 is more of the same.

So people who have a 7 will be getting the X. Meanwhile, most people who aren't on a 7 will be getting the 8.

I would hardly say the 8 has flopped. You can't really say that until the sales figures hit.

I would imagine the sales of the 8 are steady. Given that its essentially the 6SSS. I am very concerned for the X though
