If you're not too worried about the battery and are looking for a live wallpapers, these two [AMOLED LiveWallpaper & HexShaders]are quite nice.
I am going to end up with some sort of dark theme, and using this wallpaper:

Anywhere you can buy it outright (if you are able to). I checked myself yesterday, to buy it at RRP of £869 (it is slightly cheaper on the Rainforest) and then combined with my £14/m sim only deal from Vodafone it was saving me in the region of £250 over a hypothetical 24 month contract.
Left my phone at home today, it lost almost 20% in 12 hours. Yes AoD was on but a 1/5th of the charge doing nothing is ridiculous and I don't remember the drain been anywhere close to this overnight on the day I got it.

I should finally be switching over to my Note 8* today and Very have applied my discount code so phone cost + 24 months of 3 (unlimited minutes/30GB) should now be £935 (when you include cash back and selling the Dex) .

Noted, even longer period today and it only list about 2-3% with AoD off.
I don't use AOD because I don't keep my phone in my pocket a lot through the day so the screen is literally on all day. It's not to bad if pocketed a lot because it gets turned off automatically.

Just received a note 8 in the post.....first Samsung phone since the note 1 which I did like a lot. Hoping that this one is as good.
I am surrised that this phone seems small in the hand, think it needs to wider.
First phone that I'm weary of damaging normally my phones dont last 12m although the moto style x is still going strong. Anyone recommend a case for the note 8?

Anyone had experience of the carphone warehouse "if your device is faulty return it within 14 days and we'll replace it" service? Not really convinced by the battery on mine, seems rubbish (max of 2 hours SoT, and about 10 hours standby), so I'm going to take it back and try to get a new one.

I will post some recent case roundup videos I have seen in the OP later tonight. I am using a Ringke low profile clear case (I have a Ringke Fusion for my Note 4, this one is similar). It's not made for dropping multiple times from 10 feet (I think) but feels sturdy enough to do a good job from smaller repeated drops. And it's very low profile so barely any additional bulk, waiting to see how a dbrand skin looks with it

I seem to have battery drain of 10% per hour whilst taking notes....seems a lot.
Seems to be because the screen is set to 50% brightness. Is everyone turning there' down I don' really buy a phone to turn off all the features.
