It has a resolution bump to 4K but using the same assets across all formats.
So no additional textures but looks fantastic regardless at the higher res.

Got PUBG pre ordered last night, £22 from Amazon.
Yes hard reset done, tried install online and offline with 3 different game discs and all still stop. Either after a few hundred MB or a few GB have installed. Ask it to resume and it carries on for bit but then does installation stopped again. Downloaded some demo / trail game and don’t seam to have issues from some I tried. So maybe the console as a disc drive fault and can’t transfer the data correctly onto the hard drive? Just gutted that I am going to have to return the Scorpio as I like the look of it plus the added bonus of the vertical stand. Will pick up another one from John Lewis tomorrow. Fingers crossed that won’t have the same issue.

Just clarify from later post I was referring to Assassins Creed Origins.
Why is it a bad choice of games to compare? it's one of the games that MS were pushing as a 'featured' title to show off the X performance. There are 6 games listed by MS as featured X enhanced games: Forza 7, Assassins Creed, GOW 4, Shadow of War, Titanfall 2 and Tomb Raider. I have all of them and think I've covered them all in previous posts.
Got my One X arriving today, moved all my games over to the external drive last night in preparation. Couldn't get the One to start downloading the 4K updates for love nor money however. Ticked the box, fired up the games, just wouldn't detect any updates. Left it on while i'm at work incase it changes its mind before this evening
I downloaded it overnight so I will try it after work today.

How can you? I thought you could only play it 3 days early and it's not out until 17th?
EA Access is a week early I think.
It was available on EA access when I checked last night, I downloaded it but did not have time to play it. You get to 'try' it for 10 hours.
I cancelled my preorder for this because I have a decent PC already but for some strange reason I still keep considering it, especially since I can see them in stock still. The problem for me is that I'm only really playing Forza 7 at the moment so there's literally nothing to be gained for me. Anyone else as foolish as I am?

I have a pretty decent PC and i just bought an X. Like you i thought it was a bit silly but did it anyway. I'm a HUGE madden fan and you cant get it on PC for some stupid reason.

Yep, got mine on order with Very for delivery on 18th.
My PC will kick it's arse in terms of performance, but I'm still getting one. I sold my Xbox One S (mainly used as a UHD blu-ray player) and have pre-ordered Battlefront II for One X, even though it's £10 cheaper on PC and will probably run better.
I just can't be bothered playing multiplayer against keyboard and mouse people now - Xbox controller is a more level playing field

The console isn’t a game changer but you have to take your hat off to Microsoft. They have created an extremely component console, wrapped up in a simple but stylish package while remaining small and quiet.
I think they’ve knocked it out the park personally and it will do exactly what it’s role was intended to do. Provide a premium experience for those who want it.
