Xbox One X

I’ve not had that one but I’ve had a couple times the game quits to dashboard and it asks me if I own this game, not sure if connected.

Im having this too , how are you connected to your router ?
I get this issue along with being disconnected from xbox live constantly when connected to my router via 5Gz band
If i go on the slower 2.4g these issues go away which is quite annoying

So, currently have the standard fat Xbox One with a 4K non HDR TV.

Am I right in saying the standard Xbox One does not upscale in anyway to 4K? If so, I am missing out on 4K goodness on my TV.

Really struggling to not purchase.... AAAARGH!

Ethernet at the minute, the game is installed to the external HDD.

You'll notice a difference, I'm using it on a TV without HDR but it still looks impressive.

Just out of interest has anyone had an error 8027025A app failed to start error, seems mainly when you're using an external HDD mine has once but straight after it loaded fine perhaps I'm suffering from new console paranoia.

Yes I was going t post about that, I'm having problems starting games with various error messages. One error I had last night which I remember as it was quite funny (and annoying) was: "For some reason XXXXX has taken too long to start (0x8027025a)" and well it didn't start, had to try a few times. Other errors I get include 0x800705b4.

Are you using an External by any chance and if so what type please?

For new Xbox people it might be well worth grabbing a few 'Games Pass' codes off eBay, can be had for less than three quid for a month

A cheap way of having access to a load of games, not the latest but some good uns.
Are the games on the Microsoft pass different each month or is that a permanent list that gets added to?

I see what some of you guys meant about the weight of the console now. Was quite surprised when taking it out of the box.

Only issue I have had is running Plex just freezes and get the same message that it can’t start

Quick question regarding the TV options for anyone who knows about this stuff. I've got an LG OLED55C6V. By default my X was set to 1080p so obviously I've upped that to 4K. What I'm not sure about are the "Allow YCC 4:2:2", Colour Depth and Colour Space options. I've enabled YCC 4:2:2 and on taking a quick snap of the images, it looks better to me:

Without HDR:

With HDR but YCC 4:2:2 enabled:

With HDR but YCC 4:2:2 disabled:

So anyway, it seems clear to me that for my TV, YCC 4:2:2 should be enabled. But what about the Colour Depth and Colour Space options? I've set mine to 10 bit colour depth and left space on standard, but since my TV supports Dolby Vision which is apparently 12 bit I'm not sure if that is what I should be using or not. Anyone have any idea?

I'm sure someone on here said you wanted 4:4:2 (not 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 is not available due to limited bandwidth) but I can't find the thread now.
