Xbox One X

I have to agree, owning both I much prefer the design and compactness of the Xbox X, side by side the pro looks ugly and huge, I did not particularly like the standard PS4 design either.
Hopefully the next console from Playstation will be completely different.

I quite like the Pro Design however it does look bigger than the X, however the X is actually slightly wider, just looks smaller for some reason. In reality we have the PS4 to thank for the X design as without that MS would still be making the VHS Recorder box (they took a lot of criticism for the original Xbone).

Unless the measurements are incorrect, the 1X is significantly smaller than the Pro in cubic volume.

It looked fine until I had them sitting side by side, anyway its cool owning them both.

I don't see things as cubic volume, they are in a media unit next to each other and I see them mainly from the front/slightly down. The X looks smaller but is actually slightly wider (fact). I'm talking a couple of mm's but the design of the X makes it looks a little smaller even from the front. The X would be smaller in cubic volume as it's not as deep...

I suspect even the next generation will have its fair share of games at 30fps. Just a characteristic of consoles. Although we seeing many more games at 60fps this time around compared to PS3/Xbox 360 so you never know...

It's only really the CPU holding the One X back now, they could just update the CPU to a newer architecture (i.e. AMD Zen) and keep the same power GPU and it could probably run most 30fps games at a locked 60fps with a dynamic resolution in place.

Yeah, I think that would be the best for next gen but I still think we’ll end up with 4K30 but better physics, AI, etc.

How are people finding this with a KS8000?

I️ keep dithering about a a new TV and this came up as an option, I️ believe it’s quite a good TV?

I'd wait until TV's are released with HDMI 2.1 ports, mainly for Freesync/VRR support. I'm holding out on upgrading to 4k until then as I'd kick myself if I bought a TV now, only to have them release Freesync TV's come CES early next year
