I can confirm the S cable works, and the S power cable
Swapping my S out to my X was like a 7 second pit stop...
Mine's finally working properly now. No idea what it was playing at but it's loading games and signing me in without any hard resets. Not much of a racing fan but Forza looks great!
Now they just need to start rolling out the Keyboard and Mouse support.

Really? Ive been reading that the cable with the S and the X is a faster cable? Fair enough if not though.
Failed a god damn phishing test at work because my Xbox is arriving this week, we get monthly tests and this particular one was headed "Package Undeliverable". Immediately thought it was the Xbox and clicked the link.
Anyhow, is there any way I can start downloading the content before it arrives? I don't want to waste the evening waiting for downloads.

Theres a 500mb ish update and thats it. If you have a harddrive you had games on though you can plug it straight in and you are good to go.
Don't know if you consider my PC as high-end but yes finding it brilliant. Been playing Shadow of War, Forza 7, State of Decay, Mass Effect Andromeda, Titanfall 2 and had a very brief go at Battlefront 2.
Initial impressions, the games visuals do look excellent but in fairness my monitor for PC is 1080p Ultrawide with high refresh. For the Xbox I've been using a 4k none HDR TV and got to say Forza 7 and Titanfall 2 have been the best "lookers", Shadow of War looks tidy but I'm not sure I'm getting 60fps or the best quality... that said it still looks amazing.
Was down to personal reasons as frankly I'm not sure I will be gaming much on PC anymore so a console was the way to go, hardware wise would I recommend it over a PS4 Pro? Yes, Games wise? No... but there are enough games to enjoy. Would I buy it over a 4k spec gaming PC? Probably would now but I suppose this is down to your personal preference... you can't beat gaming on a PC but for the price, it does deliver on what it promised and appears to be well made, it barely makes a sound whereby my GPU on PC is quite noisy under heavy load and my PS4 Pro sounds like a bloody fighter jet!

Been playing Oblivion and it runs well and looks great now its got the up-spuff treatment going on,however...
After I left it paused for an hour or so it gradually got more laggy and choppy when I went back to it. Anyone experienced anything like this with any games?

Has anyone had problems with their wireless controller? Mine has decided to disconnect and will only stay connected for about a minute at a time. I've tried 4 pairs of batteries so it's not that. No problems using one of my other controllers.
Have you updated the controller ?

When you say paused do you mean paused in game or as in minimised back to dashboard? If you mean the dashboard way then while not completely relevant it used to do that with Destiny 1 on the base Xbox One. Used to require a quit software and back-in until Bungie patched it.
