Finished second tonight, against a guy whom was following me through walls, Instant head shot with AK with no recoil. Oh the joys.

Ya the cheaters have gone wild over the last few days in Solo-FPP. Talking to a experienced developer, Battle-eye is a complete tick the box canned anti-cheat. It is completely rudimentary. It will catch the free cheats, but won't do anything against the updated/paid for cheats. Blueballs has literally no way to protect from those, so the game has a quite finite lifespan.

makes no difference.all anticheats are the same since fps games came out.

so it wont effect the playerbase at all.its not that bad.if you stick to europe.go asia and na you will see more if you a regular top ten person.

EU is riddled with them too. And it will affect the playerbase as the people who are playing now legit are getting sick of it. so when they start to drop out the % of cheaters goes up per game proportionately, until youre left with a game with even more per match. This drives out people even faster and so on.

it just means a certain percentage will cheat always.wont matter if a small percentage cheat when 20 million are playing legit.

last ten games i had 3 wins 3 or 4 2nds couple top tens.not one cheat all euro.

you do get em but it isnt as bad on euro as many make out.

it will eventually just get to the similar percentage of cod and battlefield which is about 10-12 percent of the player base.thats standard.

Yeah but as I've said before, in any other game you can switch servers or votekick, in this you've invested 40 mins of your time trying to play against someone that can see you through walls constantly.

I'm aware some people are getting lucky and not seeing them for 20 games in a row, but for some others they are in all 20 of those games. The replay facility has taken it from hackusations to being able to see the bull**** in action, and its obvious.

no as said you may stop .few may stop .but... the 20 million others wont.so it wont matter.game goes on.thats why it wont be solved.

there is a cheating issue but its in the boundries they probably expect.regardless of if " we " think its acceptable or not. i would love to see more companies behind games put more of the money they earn into stopping cheats but thats profit they losing on doing so.thats why its farmed out to third party companies.

pubg earning possibly billions they could stop most of it with the right people any money. thing is why waste millions when they as a business can keep that ? it sucks for us.for them its lost profit in doing so.

how many of those other millions do you think are on their 2nd/3rd account?

When even the cheaters cant cheat because theres so many doing it that will be the end of the game. A long way off even if it does happen, if they don't sort it out.

So far out of a highest estimate of 40 million sales, they have banned 1.5 mil which works out at 3.75% of the total playerbase to date, in early access and having to resort to manual cheat reports to ban them.

I think its more than fair to assume the actual number could be ten times that amount that havent been caught yet.

That's what a lot of people don't get. Cheating in a battle royal game effects you more personally as you have a significant amount of time invested. Unless they are completely obvious, the isolated nature of the game in which you cannot see K/D etc means you don't know you are up against a cheater until it is too late. Another 30 minutes down the drain if you are normally a top10 player.

Well I've got 255 hours in game, almost all EU and FPP, and I've never come across any cheats. Not saying that there haven't been any in my games, but I've never seen any.
Like most things, you'll always hear more from people who have negative things to say about something.

Either you aren't spotting them, you're lucky or I'm just unlucky. I'd say in the past 20 games, 14 of them have had at least 1 cheater (some have had multiple). The last 3 games we played we had some really obvious cheaters, didn't stop us from getting 3 chicken dinners back to back though. We just had to change play style and let's be honest, a bit of luck :)

For anyone that has spotted a cheat, if you record the replay you can submit the evidence through the forums:

I still haven't come across anyone blatantly cheating in over 500 hours.

The biggest difference is whether you play TPP or FPP.

Also wouldn't your elo rank affect how many cheats you see since they are in the top tiers of ranks.

I very much doubt it, there seems to be very little matched ranking in place if any at all.

My elo's consistently been in the top 2000, peaking at rank #300 and I still don't run into cheaters.

i have seen blatant aimbotters on china servers the " Q " at start of name often gives it away. not so many on europe. you will run into more the higher you are or the more often you finish in the top ten as they will progress to the end. wont they.doesnt mean everyone who is at the end is hacking though.there are very good people at games and sometimes anyone pulls off wonder shots or stupid crap and all you here is " hacker " " cheating **** " on voice coms :p

Well, first solo first person game on the new map was interesting. Landed nowhere near anyone else, with no vehicles. Spent the majority of the game running to the zone, killing one or two people on the way and ended up finishing third due to what I would call suspicious play - looked like an aim-lock in the replay death-cam, but couldn't be 100% certain. Oh well.
