*** Nintendo Switch ***

Apparently you will be able to buy the cardboard seperately? Hopefully meaning you buy 1 "kit" which includes the software then just buy cardboard kits respectively afterwards.

It's obviously not aimed at us (although some people still seem oblivious to that) but as a game/development tool for kids I think it's an inspired idea.

Nintendo are so imaginative, I think it's a genius idea and as others have said kids will go wild for it , the whole experience of building something then colouring it in to make it your own and then actually getting to interact it's a genius idea , and if the cardboard kits only cost like £10 then it's not too expensive , I want to try the piano one and I'm 28 :D

How much time are people losing to Stardew Valley before they seem to get bored? Does it have objectives/tasks or is it just open ended?

I kept playing until I'd rebuilt the community centre and saved up enough money for a certain "item". Don't want to spoil it. But after I got "the item" the game really didn't have anything else to aim for.

Being a fan of Rogue likes I had Enter the Gungeon on the PC but it was one of those Steam sale items that sit on the list for months before playing it.

Grabbed it in the Switch and I've been hooked ever since. It's so bad I have put down Splatoon/Mario/Zelda in favour of this. This has even cured my unheathly obsession/addiction to Binding of Isaac

Been looking at this , any good ?

Have been interested in this for some time. Supposed to be really hard etc. Heard the other console ports were good but suffered a bit from user interface related stuff may have been sorted by now

I've not played it but I've looked into it and it's really highly rated on the PC. I'm going to wait for some Switch opinions to drop before I decide what to do. Looks really interesting though (and stressful!).

Nintendo fans are worse than Apple fans for buying any random crap they come out with!

Literally selling people cardboard lol

Google did it too, just for a lot less money... :)

I think it looks like fun, I'm considering the variety pack for my daughter as it's something nice we could build and play together.

Labo looks a bit like another one of Nintendo glorified minigame tech demo's, I won't be purchasing but I don't think I was target audience.

Going to put in an order for a few Switch games from playasia soon, want physical games more than downloads, still waiting for Limited Run Games to get up and running on the switch, just hope they don't start piling out the shovelware with spurious "Collectors Editions" though.

Labo not for me, but I like it regardless, it's quirky and different, that's good, really good. At least it's something new, I won't buy it, but I like that someone's trying a diiferrent idea other than COD version whatever
