Agreed, but it can't be right,to suggest that someone should do something illegal, when the cop should know that getting in someone's car, believing it to be a minicab, without first phoning for it, is both illegal, and unwise.
Now i know he is scum but comparing him to terrorists is a bit much.
never claimed he was innocent, i think showing a little humanity towards his family wouldnt be a bad thing
maybe the coppers realise the laws are stupid and outdated, what real difference is there when a person phones a minicab and explains they want to go to a certain destination and the operator tells them to get in that vehicle thats infront of them and someone going upto a minicab and asking to be taken somewhere and the minicab driver calls the operator and tells them that the passengers want to go to a certain destination.....not sure what this had to do with the topic but oh well.

Not at all, he attempted to terrorise an old gentleman. Which turned out to be a fatal mistake this time. How much previous he had in such manly endeavours is open to conjecture.
Like he showed humanity to his victims . This is been down for one reason only to intimidate the OAP

really so you think an armed burgular is as bad as someone whose main purpose is to kill as many innocents as possible ?

He was armed, with the intent to do harm unless provided compensation.
He would have been shot in my house, sod the consequences. I would have also made sure my shots would have been non-lethal and then while waiting for the plod, I would have stepped on his wounds.
The man was a violent criminal all his life. A little retribution goes a long way.
I would also treat others (politically motivated or not) the same way if they entered my home.
Its a false equivalency to say these should be treated differently. Ones aim is violence gains wealth, the other political.
Both violent and both better off feeling a bit of pain before they shuffle off this mortal coil.
Going by reports his family don't really look like model citizens and they seem to have little regard for other peoples property (said fence ) so I'm lacking in any empathy towards them.

Personally, I hope the guy slowly got to choke on his on fluids so he got chance to contemplate the misery he caused by robbing old people.
I hope his ***** family who are all guilty of the same thing suffer the same way.
Does that make things clear? Once that scum starts showing humanity so will I, until then I will be tipping my glass to the old boy who rid the world of a bit of human excrement.
Amusingly one of the guys who cleared away the flowers didn't give his name as he didn't want reprisals (for the sake of his family) - though also commented that they (the traveler) were low IQ individuals and likely couldn't find him.
The other person who cleared away flowers was happy to give his name, he was an old guy and the name matches that of someone who was also arrested under suspicion of murder for defending himself against a burglar! It does seem we've got some pretty badass OAPs in this country.
