**** The Official Huawei P20 Thread ****

It is basically a cross between android and iOS. They did away with the app panel, so all your apps are on your homescreens.

However with EMUI 8, that's now optional.

Didnt know this! Now got an app drawer.

Regarding the price, best time to get was with pre order. Pretty pleased with mine for £550 plus headphone offer(on an o2 pay monthly which ive cancelled/payed off )

Are people still having a wild goose chase with the EE offer? Was going to suggest the P20 to someone but have told them about the Honor View 10 as a fallback if one can't be sourced or the Nokia 7 Plus.

Ordered mine on the 4th of April, suggested deliver of 16th to 18yh of April. So you may be waiting.

It won't recognise the phone when connecting usb, it recognises initially then stops charging and rendering android auto useless, any fixes? Tried the supplied cable also.

This looks interesting. Do they actually work well enough without issue? Almost seems too cheap to be honest.

My P20 Pro was supposed to be delivered yesterday, than it moved to today, now it seems DPD have lost it! DPD won't speak to me about it and Vodafone are useless!

On the plus side, my protective case arrived from Amazon

I ordered mine on the 30th of March. On Wednesday I opened up the chat on their website and asked when they expected things to be delivered as it was showing as out of stock. The guy said he would bump me up to the top of the list and today i received it through the post! Might be worth asking online cos you have 'concerns that you won't be able to take advantage of the headphones offer' ;)

These will limit your maximum charge current to 1 amp though - so charging the phone will take a lot longer.

I had one tucked behind a leather case with my iPhone 6S when I got that, worked brilliantly to be honest.

One concern would be the slow charging rate on these bigger batteries, works well enough on phones like an iPhone which are less than 2000mah but most high end android devices will take a lot longer.

Doesnt matter though. I normally have my phone sat on a wireless cradle at work all day so it' always 100% when I pick it up. Will order one today

And if I need a fast charge I'll plug it in

Can anyone recommend a screen protector for p20 pro (preferably from Amazon ) which works with spigen case?

Just tried putting a 9h one on and it's too big/tight for case so the case pulls it off! :X

P20 glass protector from voigeer fits easily and perfectly. No bubbles. Much better than the thin plastic one which is pre fitted. About £9 for 3 at the moment on amazon
A lot of spam reviews on Amazon for screen protectors, and even spam accounts signing up on here it seems

I infact ordered the following and I can confirm the spigen case will pull at its sides and pop it off!

Huawei P20 Pro Screen Protector, Vigeer [0.3mm, 2.5D] [Bubble-Free] [9H Hardness] [Easy Installation] [HD Clear] Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Huawei P20 Pro
