Avengers: Infinity War (2018) - SPOILER FREE DISCUSSION - DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT, STARMUNCH!

Might be a daft question so i do apologise, do you guys think i can take me 7 year old to see this? We've watched all the others at home, its a 12A.
We are both well pumped about this
Only you can answer that really, I wouldn't take my Daughter (whos 7) for example as the nature of her personality leads her to ask too many questions about any suffering or death within films, even Frozen was bad enough when the parents died!

last Marvel film I saw was Civil War, haven't seen latest spider man or Thor...do I need to?

These films feature the Infinity Stones:

Captain America: The First Avenger
Avengers Assemble
Thor: The Dark World
Guardians of the Galaxy
Age of Ultron
Doctor Strange

These films set the backdrop to which Infinity War is set:

Civil War
Thor: Ragnarok
Black Panther

I think you'll be missing quite a bit if you haven't seen those three, as Infinity War follows on directly after. Although obviously watching BP is impractical as it's not out on DVD yet.

Booked for Thursday night, wanted to go at the late showing at 10:30pm but being a 2 hour and 40min long, meaning it'll finish at 2am which is way too late for a work day. 9pm it is.

Is it bad going to the cinema alone for a midnight viewing on Thursday?

No one I know seems bothered! And I’m desperate to watch it.

Solo dates to the cinema are fine!

Me and her indoors have Cineworld Unlimited cards and both of us occasionally go on our own if the other isn't interested.

Well was looking to go.. I seen cinema near me has increased cost to over £11 quid for bog standard 2d. That's taking **** it will be out on blu Ray for all few quid more in few months!

Shoot me a PM and I'll get you a ticket for ~£7? Odeon or Vue.

To be fair, it's a massive movie. £11 quid to watch it on the big screen, and avoiding spoilers (no way will you avoid spoilers in the 5 months until home video release), it's still an absolute bargain.

Got tickets for thursday :P 2h 40m yikes. gonna put my butt in training this evening by sitting still for 3h.

Just a point, Vue now have much cheaper online prices, at least my local one. Booking online for Infinity War only cost £22ish all in for 4 tickets to a 2D screening (2xStudents, 2xAdults). No offer codes or evouchers used.

8:30pm tomorrow for us...really looking forward to it! Working from home tomorrow so may well stick Avengers and Age of Ultron on as I work since I recently watched, GotG, Thor Ragnarok, Spider-Man and Black Panther.

Guys, my local Vue has a screening at 7am which is ideal BUT it is an AD screening (Audio Description?). Is this optional? It won't interfere with me watching if it's not needed? Thanks

(I'd try to call the cinema directly but they're nigh-on impossible to get ahold of)

edit - Looks like it's optional via headphones, cool.

Earliest screenings are midnight tomorrow (as in 36 hours from now) right? I might just sack off my friends/fiance and go :o:p

My Thai bride is 17 and a half I'll have you know! And AD stuff is all 'Thor looks disappointingly at Ironman and swings his Hammer and flies away' stuff. If that would annoy you then it might stop you enjoying the film. It's for blind people.
