It's for blind people.
Yeah, looks like it's optional via headphones and otherwise it's a normal screening.

Is this a film worth seeing in IMAX/3D? Only seen a couple of IMAX films and they were obviously only part shot in IMAX, and the off 3D film.
Edit - £22 for an IMAX 3D ticket. Having a giraffe! And £16 for a 2D tickets - that's even more laughable.
Weird. I've been to the Print works but preferred Telford. In Manchester I couldn't walk around a corner or approach from a different street without being accosted by a begger. They are supposed to start work on an Imax in Stoke soon run by European company called light. Can't come soon enough.I looked at Telford. But it's expensive for what it is. The Telford screen is one of the smaller "IMAX" screens in the UK, and has an aspect ratio of 1.85:1. IMAX footage has an aspect ratio of 1.43:1. So the screen size is cut down further when displaying IMAX content. Is it worth the premium over regular tickets at that particular Cineworld? Probably; it's only £3.80 more per ticket and you don't need to faff about remembering to bring your own 3D glasses. But compared to my local cinemas at ~£6 per ticket? Nope.
I'll go and watch it at Manchester Printworks once things quieten down. It's a lot bigger than Telford, and a good bit cheaper.
The BFI is a whole different beast. That screen is huge! It's the best cinema in the UK, so the price premium is very much justified.
So what about a thread where spoilers are allowed?A final reminder to anyone going to see this at midnight etc.
Please read the rules about spoilers (link)
The thread is likely going to explode with activity come release which usually brings in a lot of guests plus people just searching for general consensus for the movies without seeing spoilers.
If you want to create a thread then be my guest and I’ll designate this one a spoiler-free zone.So what about a thread where spoilers are allowed?
not at all. I go to the cinema by myself all the time. Or used to, now I take my 16 year old!
Solo dates to the cinema are fine!
Me and her indoors have Cineworld Unlimited cards and both of us occasionally go on our own if the other isn't interested.
