Thing is I think I'd like kids but tbh I know I probbaly wouldn't cope with them.

Is there a boarding school that will deal with them till they're just mini adults? :p

Yeah - good plan, but you'll need an outragous amount of money to do it, and kids are bloody expensive without going to boarding school - never mind with!
 
If they couldn't have kids but wanted them I probably wouldn't. They may well just get old and miserable.

I don't want kids so if they didnt either it would be fine.

It seem like you dont know, if you genuinely dont then theres no harm. But I'd still avoid if she wanted them but couldn't.

If you think you want them I wouldnt waste my or their time. Its a massive thing. And they're isn't really much compromise there

I've not got a specific person in mind but I'm thinking of leaving my fwb/shagging about life behind and looking to settle down.

But this raises a question for me in regard to male or trans partners.
 
Male / trans couples can adopt, so it isn't the be-all and end-all.

Depends if you have that burning desire to spread your own seed, or would be happy to raise them regardless of their biology.

Whether the partner actually wants kids is probably the biggest hurdle.

Absolutely that last point.
Anything is possible unless you are misaligned on wanting kids

For example if my gf changed her mind on kids it would be instant break up
 
I was single 7 years went "without" in that time, met a lady in late dec via speed dating who was a bit crazy (Jealousy, odd ultimatums) and had to dump her not long after my birthday in march when lead to some more crazy behaviour and nutty emails.

Anyone want to read the details and the juicy emails ? names removed ofc
