That reminds me actually, when you accelerate with the window open can you hear a hissing sound from the turbo?

Both my M57 e92 330D and F30 330D did this,even more after they were remapped. Tested for boost leaks (worth looking if you have any - my EGR cooler cracked on my F30 but it did have starship mileage) - all checked ok but still quite "hissy". My current A4 3.0 TDI does the same.

It truly is a terrible photo but it’s the only recent one I have... I’d washed it a day before that photo - Went out for a walk in a forest took it down a 1 mile stone road (if you can call it that), car certainly wasn’t designed for it

Ah I miss that. All I get is 10 cylinders clearing their throat from zero to 9000rpm. I miss my diesel hissing.

It does 220mph and 10000rpm as that’s what the ‘clocks’ say so there!!
