Glad I never bought the X; a real lack of any exclusive games i’d Want to play and although 3rd party generally have higher res than pro the difference wouldn’t justify the £. Shame really as it’s an incredible technical achievement. Bodes well for next gen consoles though.

I think I shall be preordering blops 4 and bfv after work. I'll have to try the hold vpn on my desktop rather than my phone as it doesn't work at all.

I just bought FH4 and RDR2 Ultimate. Kinda feels like the extra cash for RDR2 Ultimate isn't worth it, but when it's a £35 saving from UK price why not.

It's worth mentioning that I believe MS charge for credit card pre orders around 10 days before release, so although the exchange rate for Turkish Lira is great right now it might not be 10 days before any games you pre order. I've made a note to check on it a couple of weeks before release and ill cancel if the rate is gash.

Like Amazon they charge you the lowest up until release so you should be good

Yeah but he's talking about the Lira price. Then can have a pre-order guarantee in the local currency. But if the exchange tanks no pre-order guarantee is gonna save him.

It is local, that's why you use a VPN, address and card based on that country :confused:

Not sure I understand, but you'll pay the listed Lira price. If the Lira strengthens against the pound by release date then you'll end up paying more (in pounds) than what you'd pay if they charged you right now. My credit card account is in GBP.

Am I missing something?

Some Xbox360 Tomb Raiders went BC today, Legend and Anniversary, £1.49 each from the normal store.

Interesting, ill have to give this a go in the future.

Edit: Just tried this, didn't work with the exact same payment details I used yesterday via hard wired, which is strange.

Apparently if using Revolut you can just buy some TRY at the current rate then when they debit or will use that first.

What payment method did you use? And did you just buy it straight off the console with your region as Turkey?

Try revolut, no fees. Yeah you have to set your console location to Turkey.

Tell it to me like I am an idiot, do I just add a bank card to revolut and then I use that account to buy from wherever I want or does revolut then ask me to enter an address for the country I want to buy from?
